Best beer in Carleton Place and the surrounding area. Just a proviso here. I love full flavour beers. I enjoy stouts and IPA. They also have a wheat beer that us amazing. It is called Down by the River. So many good beers.

Cute little spot, amazing service. Small town, cozy feel. The beer was all very different and delicious. They didn't have a few beers we wanted to try which means I'll have to return in the future!

Adam is a great bartender / owner. Knowledgeable, funny and informative. Had a great first visit after trying Dr Feelgood at a pub, and enjoyed a number of their other offerings as well. I'll certainly be back to try some of the seasonal beers! Thanks

A small brewery nestled in the heart of Carleton Place. Liam was amazing… very informative and pleasant. Highly recommend a flight of beers to get a taste of them all. Beers were excellent… Something for everyone!

Who doesn't want to have your tapman named Phil? Stalwart is an IPA Haven in Carlton Place. They responded to their clientele and added lighter fare, with astounding results. High IBU and ABV best describes their lineup in a few words, but I would need more space (and Phil a lot more space) to adequately describe the variety of flavours and mouth feel of each of the beers in their lineup. Phil poured my wife and I the full 10 beer lineup. The beers flavour convince my wife and me to buy some IPad and their stouts (coffee and chocolate flavours from local suppliers like Hummingbird Chocolate). We added their lighter ales to our purchase, for the same flavour and mouth feel reasons. Definitely worth a stop on a beer tour.

Very nice brewery, staff are fruendly, picnic benches for seating, outdoor seating as well. Beer is good and flavors vary!

Their beers are definitely solid and well-balanced. Lots of IPAs on the docket, but they all pretty well stand on their own. The vibe of the brewery itself is also very warm and companionable. I felt welcomed and comfortable here! Lovely place all around.
