100% concur with Ali Chappell’s review.Caseworkers make constant mistakes –culminating in files being put on hold for months at a time – and are impossible to get a hold of during working hours. You can leave multiple messages, write MyBenefits messages to them, and you never hear anything back. Those who are on government assistance are in need of this assistance to be able to survive and are not receiving any sort of competent standard of care. The incompetence here is unfathomable. Government assistance is supposed to be here to help those who need it, and those who need it are currently receiving less than lacklustre support. I wholeheartedly agree - this is what help looks like, and it’s disgusting.

Just go to the office in person. They're friendly and helpful.The phone system they have set up is abysmal. You have to sit through like 5 minutes of info and statements, then you have to listen to it all again but in French! If you do get past that and the options you're almost guaranteed to end up on someone's voicemail.

People are under ODSP allowed go to work and make $1000 extra ! Is it funny? I hope on future we can make $5000 . Thank you Sylvia Jones you are very generous.

They managed to screw up my income statement countless times and gotten my account put on hold several months in a row after i put in my income statement on time each month properly.Case workers dont answer their phones during work hours.Its hard to talk to anyone there in person. Its all just phone tag and then takes days to weeks for anything to get done. If they even get done.Update:: I've now been threatened by my case worker to stop lodging complaints and asking them to do their job or i will be blocked from receiving any sort of government help and i will be forced to move to a new district if I want to try and apply again. Manager hasnt returned my phone calls.This is what help looks like.

Can't say enough good things about this office - as a social worker with many years experience advocating for people on ODSP - the staff are pleasant, professional and helpful. And the service is fast!!

They need a new name for these people. They are called Case Workers yet work is the last thing they are capable of doing. From now on just tell me who my Case is and don't insult me by adding Worker at the end of it. My Case is a lazy cow. College educated for some social class. You know the type... useless. Go run for politics where your kind belong and give the work to people that want to work!

I hate when I have to call this place staff are friendly buy good luck getting in touch with them phone line kicks you off sometimes or no one picks up. Just a nightmare wast of my time

It has been 5 years since I joined ODSP. But this year, the money has dwindled. But I would have made a plan and prepared for it if there was an explanation of how much it had decreased, but without such an explanation, I couldn't prepare at all, making life difficult.The money has decreased again this month, and there is no explanation and no phone call.They offered to help, but no one contacted me.They don't care about you. If you can work then don't apply ODSP. They don't work and they do treat human being without dignity. They even lie about the helps. I will definitely quit ODSP if my mental health get better.
