We ordered a one of kind spalted maple sit/stand desk with Ref. For our warehouse shop on a tight deadline and i don’t even know where to start! The desk was absolutely gorgeous, sturdy and you can truly see the craftsmanship on this piece of furniture.The team at Ref. Is amazing and they answered any questions I had and delivered on time. TLDR; The worst customer service/communication i've ever experienced. If anything is wrong with your order, which it very well may happen as it did with both of mine, Resinate Exotic Furniture will most likely make it very very difficult for you to fix the mistakes in any reasonable amount of time.So I initially made a review 3 months ago about 2 orders that were both delivered with measurement errors and damage. One of those orders was *eventually* refunded while the other one has been an ongoing battle, much like it was with the first.I had the chance to deal with both owners, Nick and Kevin. I ordered a table and desk from kevin and both of them showed up with major damage and measurement mistakes: I ordered a 6' table and got a 7' (which didn't fit in our kitchen) and had 3 gouges on the top (see images), The desktop was supposed to be minimum 24 and was 22" in most of its length which means that the support for the legs sticks out like a sore thumb (see images).I spent months and countless messages back and forth trying to find a moment when Kevin could come fix the table and he was always too busy. This contradicted what his delivery man said

Ref custom wooden furniture did a great job on my custom sit/stand office desk. i needed an out-of-the-ordinary size for my apartment and they crafted a really well made walnut desk that looks great and is incredibly functional. Nick did a great job of showing me what's available and Pat was excellent while assembling the final product. i'd fully recommend ref furniture and may even return for a monitor stand.

I was looking for a Coffee table and I came across ref. and was so impressed with their selection of high-quality furniture. The quality really speak by itself. For anyone looking for well made furniture with multiple selections and beautiful natural wood tones, I strongly recommend them.

Incredible craftsmanship from this guys. I got the Tres Coffee Table and I was impressed by the level of detail and care. I genuinely recommend them. I also loved the vibe from the team!

Kevin is a Samurai Master of woodworking and creative custom design. We initially tried a few other places with zero success for what we envisioned. We started to think that we would never get what we wanted without tens of thousands of dollars. Once we found Kevin though and Resinate Exotic Furniture, everything changed for the better. When we arrived at his business, he was actually closed; in the process of moving into a new and bigger shop to expand his business. We called him and he dropped everything for us. He took us into his new shop, turned on the lights and asked us what he could do to make our day better. The amazing thing was, we didn’t have to tell him too much, he listened to the details and then described to us everything we wanted; every single detail was not over-looked in a conversation that lasted no more than five minutes. He had a quote for us within a couple hours, which was amazing value for something so custom, and then told us to give him a couple weeks. Exactly a couple weeks later, he called to tell us that our project was finished. We could not be happier. Kevin was so professional from start to finish. We absolutely love our piece of art and appreciate Kevin’s craftsmanship and attention to detail. We will never look elsewhere for any other piece of furniture. I am very disappointed. I ordered 2 charcuterie boards and one arrived broken. I immediately sent pics and asked how to process for replacement. Kevin said he would send out replacement; that was 8 weeks ago.Another week with empty promises of a tracking number for a replacement.Last option is to contact credit card company to dispute charges.So Disappointed.
