Marianne's studio is a small habitat for becoming. She brings a wealth of experience to her teaching and her sensitivity to details extends far beyond the mechanics and chemistry of ceramics. She has an intuitive knowledge of where each of her students are and what each needs next, whether it is a new technique, method or, simply, creative exploration.

Marianne is an amazing teacher. She is knowledgeable, patient and caring. I am a big fan of her work as well. I suspected that I would like to learn about pottery and ceramic when I first started her class. And after taking a semester with her, it would be my dream to eventually have a studio of my own some day. She even offers to help setting up when that happens. She is so genuine. Did my first 8-class run at Marianne's in fall 2022. An excellent intro to pottery basics in an intimate, laid-back atmosphere. Marianne herself is a generous, patient, and knowledgeable teacher. Highly recommended!

My Partner and I followed 2 classes with Marianne.We really enjoyed our time, it was within a relaxing atmosphere that we created our master pieces while discussing about the art and food scenery in Montreal.Marianne was very attentive to our requirements and what we love and we absolutely appreciated our time with her!Highly recommend!!

Pottery with Marianne was the highlight of our trip to Montreal! She was so incredibly kind, helpful, and a fantastic teacher. We wish we could go every week, we’ll definitely return next time we’re in Montreal :) The mugs we made are a perfect way to remember the time, and we love drinking tea and coffee out of them every morning! We definitely recommend taking lessons with Marianne!

Not only is it such a wonderful activity to do with friends and loved ones, but Marianne created such a supportive and warm atmosphere that we all had such a great experience. Her passion for clay is contagious and made me want to come back for so much more! The studio is also very bright and well designed it left me feeling energized. Looking forward for the next one!
