Very casual, laid back restaurant that has delicious simple food. We had the fried pickles and the cod & chips (how can you not with a name like Codmothers"?). Everything was great and I was really surprised by how good the fries were as I'm not a big french fry person. The staff was very nice and accommodating and set us up right away in a spot that worked wonderfully for our service dog

Huge portions, quick service, great patio. Need not worry that there is no place to relax in Gore Bay. We loved sitting in their patio and enjoying the Sun

A solid fish restaurant, very healthy proportions and the cod is definitely the highlight of the menu. Great outdoor deck with good music and some sun or shade should you seek either. Recommend the Cod, especially the 2 piece which is a good deal, the coleslaw is a surprisingly good side, better than most. Their fries could be a bit crisper, but the value in portion size makes up for it.

I ordered a steak medium rare, was amazing and by far the best food I've had on this island. The salad was pretty good too. My father ordered ribs and chicken wings which weren't too good. But the steak was definitely delicious. So if I come back to the island I would definitely visit hear again and order a steak.

I don't really know where to begin with this one. We had to come here as it was the only restaurant in Gore Bay. The patio on the upper level is nice enough. We ordered the nachos, two burgers, and a poutine. The poutine never came and I was glad that it didn't.The nachos were stale and very tasteless, I don't know if someone forgot to check the bag??? Or maybe they don't make them often, but they were not good. We were starving so I suppose they were edible.The burgers were alright but nothing special. Like I mentioned the poutine never came so I can't review that.Halfway through our meal, a lady from another table started to argue with the owner. This was really tense and was really awkward.At this point we needed something to salvage the meal, so we ordered the waffle tower". Erm

Absolutely amazing fish and chips! HUGE PORTIONS. 1- 2 peice cod and chips fed me and the hubby without issue! Their onion rings are also amazing and HUGEEEEE like size of my hand big!We have only done take out since we are traveling with our dog but the dining room looks clean! Staff is always friendly and attentive!

Great little patio upstairs, right on the main strip and just a few minutes walk from. The marina. Service was nice and fast, food was very good. Their strawberry rhubarb pie is amazing.

Ordered cheese balls and a poutine was told it would be 15 min.. waited over 45 min and the cook said oh i made a mistake on the order.. which is fair... i continue to wait and the cook proceeds to finish making the waitress and her boyfriend who is just hanging out a hamburger before even starting my food.. i have already waited 45 minutes for food that should only take 5 to 7 minutes to deepfry and watch the waitress bring her and her boyfriend there burgers so i ask when my food is comming and she said the cook burnt your cheese balls and you will have to wait...... never eating there again.
