Best to visit during low tide. Check your tide tables before you head out. This is a wonderful area for geology enthusiasts. This beach is the site of one of the most remarkable discoveries, the world’s tiniest dinosaur. Found here, the beach is owned privately, but is connected to the Fundy Geological Museum that does excavations here for fossils. You may be able to see some on your visit but please do not remove any from the site, as it is prohibited without a permit.

This in an incredible place. Spectacular panoramic views of the two brothers islands. A long beach that is perfect for a long walk or enjoying some sun. Home of the most abundant fossil record in the northern hemisphere.

Beautiful spot to collect rocks and if very lucky fossils from dinosaurs who roamed the area 200 million years ago. Few years back we unearthed one together with then director Of the local museum, Tim Fedak. Awesome to think you are the first to see something so old.
