Absolutely AMAZING experience!This bread was the highlight of my roadtrip!While on my way to Jasper from Vancouver last week, I stopped in Valemount and discovered there was a Swiss Bakery…but unfortunately found out it is closed on Tuesdays. Luckily for me, the owner, Tim, just happened to be there and was SO welcoming and kind and even got me a loaf of Rye bread. It was such a delightful experience and the bread was DELICIOUS!!This bakery is not to be missed! Authentically good bread with an authentically kind owner to match!!

This place is the best you must stop by if you're in the area. Not only are the owners super friendly and hilarious, the food and drinks are delicious. Every ingredient is freshly made, tastes like it's made with love.

What a nice change from the regular highway stops!! Take the extra minute to drive into Valemount to grab a soup & sandwish. The bakery items (breads, pastries) were also excellent. Service and views topped off the experience.

Valemount Swiss Bakery
If you want to try excellent Swiss/German bread and pastries, this bakery is where you need to go. All ingredients are carefully chosen (organic) and everything is freshly baked.The owner is incredibly friendly and makes every customer feel welcomed by chatting and explaining whatever you want to know.I’d recommend going there as soon as possible since some products are sold out quite fast and it’s definitely worth the wait.Great experience!!

Had a chance to chat with the baker (and I think he's the owner). He's very enthusiastic about his baked stuff... and yes they are very nice and delicious. Variety and different kinds of bread and pastries... delicious! The mocha was made fresh from scratch... also one of the best. Very nice building and atmosphere!

Amazing bakery! We stopped by on our road trip and got a fresh, warm baguette which we used for making sandwiches for our picnic. We also got an apple streusel and blueberry squirrel, both of which were full of flavor and just the perfect amount of sweetness.The staff here is friendly and helpful, and we loved their Lego decor.We would stop by again the next time we're passing through!

best bakery in valemount, by far - okay, that’s easy considering that there aren’t any real alternatives.but, swiss bakery easily holds up to the highest standards you might have.i love the fact that they are using the best ingredients. also organic ones, if that’s important to you.staff is also friendly and welcoming, which all in all leads to a rather long line in front of the shop, because it’s quite a popular place.delicious bread & pastries. totally worth a visit if you are in town or passing through.lots of parking in front of the shop.only downside, they start opening from10am - which might be a little late for a few.

WOW! Amazing coffee, a huge variety of lunch and Austrian cake options. Our family is from Köln in Germany, and honestly the bratwurst, strudel and the bread were so perfect.
