I have a peanut and almond allergy so I was excited to come here as they had a sign outside that said “allergen conscious”. When I got inside, I saw that their gelato was peanut free which is rare to see! I had to ask if there were almonds in the gelato as it only said “peanut free”. However, the person I asked had no idea as they don’t have the ingredients for their gelato! How can you be “allergen conscious” but not have the ingredients to something you serve? It was a huge disappointment and is frankly unacceptable to claim yourself as “allergen conscious”.

Amazing additional to downtown Haliburton! the Coconut Bourbon is incredible, I got a scoop and had to come back to buy some to bring home. Cool hard to find cocktail ingredients and utensils- which was much needed for Haliburton.Great staff/owners as well!

Huge fan of Tipples. They have excellent gelato, especially the alcoholic options.In addition, they now have a cocktail list which has not disappointed.Tipples is a rare spot in cottage country where you can enjoy a nice proper cocktail in a hip and comfortable setting.
