Such a lovely coffee shop in the neighborhood. I loved to stop there for a coffee when I was in vacation and I always left with a big smile. Everyone is so polite and kind.I really enjoyed the latte with lavender syrup and the almond croissant.

Great pastries, coffee, friendly service… a gem in Ottawa. The almond croissant was dense (in a good way) and the caramel chocolate shortcake? pastry was amazing. A must visit.

Cute little neighbourhood cafe with welcoming staffs and great service. This is a small takeout cafe ideal for a quick coffee plus pastries. They have sandwiches, cookies and other baked goods. I tried mocha, croissant and mini pecan pie. The mocha was really good slightly on the sweet side though. The baked items were really great too. Definitely coming here again.I wish they had a small indoor seating available and that would make this place complete.

Incredible sandwiches and cookies! Coffee and tea were super delicious too (I had a rooibos oat latter). Love that everything is vegetarian and it’s in a quiet neighbourhood with easy street parking. One downside was the lack of seating for our group of 8 (2 families with 4 kids in total). Luckily the weather was warm enough to eat outside on the small bench. Excellent for a bite before/after skating at Rideau Hall!

Always worth the trip! Beautiful spot in a stellar neighbourhood, couldn’t be a more inviting corner.Service is top notch and the treats are great. Staff take time to make sure you understand what’s up—a rarity in this city! Kudos to the team.Take out only, it’s an antique space—plenty to see on a stroll in the neighbourhood.

Best hidden gem! I’ve passed this cafe so many times and today I decided to finally give it a try and I’m so glad I did. High quality food and drinks!

I live 500 metres from this cafe but would happily travel 500 KMs to come here. They are such a unique gem in New Edinburgh and everything Christine makes is fantastic. Come to the cafe and then go for a stroll around a lovely and unique neighbourhood in Ottawa.

Cute little neighbourhood café with friendly staff. Delicious coffee and treats. Currently take out only with a few outdoor seats. Close walk to Rideau Hall and Maple Island which have benches and beautiful gardens to enjoy with a nice coffee in hand

What a lovely cafe! I remember walking by here the first time and noticed how packed it was. Knew I had to come here the next time I had the chance.Definitely come here early because this place gets packed very quickly! Not a lot of seating and they don’t take reservations, so it’s a first come first serve basis.I got a sandwich with Brie, pesto, and kale, and also a lavender latte. They were both SO delicious! I think I’m going to try something else the next time for the main course though just because the roof of my mouth got quite irritated from the toasted bread. The lavender tea though I highly recommend. The lavender taste is very prominent and it just warms you up.Definitely coming back again and I love how charming it is! Great location, great decor, and great vibes from the staffs.

We love this place. It got better after COVID. Although Monique the owner was always pleasant, many of the servers pre-COVID were pretentious. Now, everyone is great. Their sandwiches are gourmet and they serve the best Flat White in town - this comes from someone who lied in Australia for a year where the Flat Whites are their bread and butter.
