Rainbow International Restoration of Edmonton

The seal on my washing machine went and flooded my basement. Restoration1 came out at 3 AM, about 20 minutes after I called about the emergency, and immediately got to dewatering the basement. They were extremely helpful, professional, and courteous. My basement was back to normal in a timely manner and I couldn't be happier! 10/10 would recommend to anyone stuck in a similar situation.

Corey and his team offered us top of the line customer service, they were professional, responsive and polite. Their prices are reasonable and they deserve every penny for the peace of mind they offer. After their work was completed, they scheduled a day to come only check up all the work that was done to make sure they did it perfectly. I recommend Rainbow for any restoration or residential job one would need.

I suspected a mould issue in my home and called Rainbow International. They offered a free inspection of the premises. Bryce Scranton did a thoroughly professional job of inspecting all the suspected areas, including accessing the attic and gave an objective assessment of the problem and possible causes. I was quite impressed and delighted with the quality of guidance received and would recommend this business 100% anyone facing a similar situation. Thank you Bryce!

Corey is very nice, seems knowledgeable and showed up in a timely matter. My issue is with the significant quote/deposit amount. In my situation I needed an official second opinion on the water damage in my house but charging $500 for a 10 minute quote/inspection is not reasonable. In hindsight I should have not paid but being in a sticky situation I hastily handed over my credit card.

Amazing service, from amazing people! They where friendly, punctual, professional, respectful and knowledgeable. I’d recommend them to anyone and would use them again in a heartbeat.

I'm pleased to provide this review with regards to the service and professionalism of the staff at Restoration 1.I've had the displeasure of using a different Edmonton based Fire/Water restoration company prior to Restoration 1, and the difference in the level of approach and overall completion is well worth mentioning.They arrived with in an Hr, immediately alleviating the damages.During and afterwards communicated all aspects of the rebuild process. Working closely with the condo board, comforting me with confidence towards the light at the end of the tunnel. Water damage can be a very unpleasant experience.. Team members to mention, had patience, and put in what I believe was added effort to minimize my unfortunate outcome. They communicated with soft responses, which at the time myself was having much difficulty with.Thank you Corey, Adam, Blaine plus all who helped. Well earned!

Restoration1 was quick to come cut out our ceiling when we had some water damages from the bathtub above. However I have been less than impressed of their response time to have the job completed. We have been waiting 3 weeks to receive a quote from the project manager regarding the completion of the job. (Replacing ceiling hole that was cut out) I was told by Bryce that we would receive a quote via email by the end of the day... this was weeks 3 ago. Will definitely be considering going elsewhere to get the job completed.

As another reviewer mentioned, first impression was good but it went swiftly downhill from there. I called Restoration 1 to deal with a minor flood in my rental property. Countless times I would have to contact the company to see when they were coming, as they didn't bother to keep me in the loop whatsoever. They'd set up appointment times for workers to come in, and they were late almost EVERY time, or wouldn't even show up! I had to leave work multiple times to accommodate the workers who obviously do not care whatsoever for other people's time. It took them nearly two months to complete the job, and just gave me a huge bill without going over any the work they had done with me. Next time I'd prefer just to leave my basement a swamp then work with this company again. I'd give 0 stars if I could.

I would highly recommend Rainbow for any restoration work! Corey, Bryce and the team worked hard to clean up our basement flood in a timely manner. They also helped remediate a separate issue we had with our roof. We are very happy with the complete outcome of both projects. The team is very responsive and professional. Definitely would use Rainbow again if need be!

Our basement flooded after an outdoor hose bib broke. They were quick to respond and bring the situation under control. The staff were amazing in terms of politeness , workmanship, and the willingness to go the extra mile to ensure our satisfaction with the work that was being done . We cannot say enough in regards to their professionalism and ability to get the job done in the shortest time possible. If you ever have a need for their services our experience with this company was totally positive an we highly recommend them.Dave & Liz
