Cobourg Conservation Area

i have been to 100+nature,walking trails and this one was a disappointment. dont bother going if you are from out of town. its just a big open soccer field with over grown bush along the edge with a man made path wide enough for 1 and some thistles. the creek has dead fish along the path and smells! the open space would be nice for a packed picnic and a large family to play and run around.

Lots of garbage on the ground, not the best maintained paths which would be nice to have to keep people off the grass. The only area that was maintained fairly well was the soccer fields. It does have a port a potty which is helpful when you have little ones.

It's the great outdoors! Gotta love it!

Do you like big open fields? Then this place is for you!There is also a few neat little paths through the woods by the stream, and a cute bridge to another big open Feild.

Nice and peaceful place to visit

Gorgeous place for walks! Love seeing all the bunnies this time of year. Also love taking the dog for walks there he loves the water!

I actually love walking my dog here. However, in the summer the town only occasionally cuts the grass, and much of the creekside is loaded with stinging nettle and poison ivy. Basically, beware of hoards of mosquitos and other plants and creatures bent on torturing the skin!!!

Nestled in the beautiful town of Cobourg, it is a best kept secret parkland where you can witness salmon run along the creek in the Fall. Large football field offers townsfolk many outdoor activities. Strolling the winding trail along the creek and enjoying what best nature can offer is another favorite leasure walk in town.

Big open space. Nothing much. Have a adequate parking and one portable toilet onsite.

This is Actually the YMCA. I am not a member but l love taking my Granddaughter from Toronto there to blow off some steam and exercise.l give a 4 star rating to the staff and the hard working cleaning crew keeping everything working in great shape l give a 2 star for the price of using the kids gym now 10 dollars. You get alot if you have a whole day to be there you get the gym and then the pool....... But let's just say you only use it for 1hr and no pool or this poor lady had 3 kids and only stayed for 15 mins that now is alot of money l think it should be prorated if u use the gym for more then 2hrs we should get a different rate anyways l think they can work on a better system.
