***I recently switched to Allstate Insurance for my auto and home coverage, and I couldn't be happier with the service I've received.*****Updated Review**I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with my Allstate agent and feel compelled to update my review to one star. While I am hesitate to name the agent directly, I hope that she reads this review and considers being more courteous to her clients in the future.I was already their client and wanted to buy a new car. Initially, I was provided with a quote for a new car, which I accepted and proceeded with the purchase. However, on the day of car purchase, despite several requests for her to contact me with some questions I had, she didn't call and was asking me questions through email correspondence, citing her busy schedule due to Valentine's Day as an excuse, which I found unprofessional.To make matters worse, when I received the final premium for my new car after selling my old one, the amount was significantly higher than the quoted amount. I had many email exchanges with her showing how unhappy and frustrated i was with the increased premium, she didn't bother to call to explain and kept on insisting that nothing could be done to lower the premium.Finally, after contacting Allstate customer service, I spoke with a helpful representative who took the time to review my policy and discovered that two discounts had not been applied, resulting in a savings of $650. Had I not reached out, I would have lost this money due to my agent's lack of concern for my losses.Overall, I am extremely disappointed with the level of service I received from my Allstate agent. While she initially seemed friendly and helpful, her behavior changed drastically once I signed up for the policy. I hope that she takes this review as an opportunity to reflect on her customer service skills and make improvements for the benefit of her future clients.
