I JUST HAD A PHONE CALL WITH TARGO WHO IS OFFERING A PROMOTION FOR NEW CUSTOMERS AT 54$ FOR 1GBPS OR 1000MBPS . I BECAME A NEW RESIDENTIAL CUMSTOMER JUST LAST MONTH. I ASKED IF I COULD BENEFIT FROM THIS PROMOTION AND WAS TOLD AT FIRST NO, WHEN I ASKED THE AGENT TO CHECK I WAS TOLD IT'S DEPENDENT ON YOUR LOCATION AS TO WHETHER OR NOT YOU CAN HAVE IT.(HEMMINGFORD) I INFORMED THE AGENT THAT SOMEONE IN MY AREA JUST SIGNED UP FOR THIS PROMOTION AND I WAS THEN TOLD BY THE AGENT THAT IT IS IN FACT BASED UPON CASE BY CASE...I CURRENTLY PAY OVER 150$ TO HAVE THE SAME 1GBPS AND I HAD COMMERCIAL INTERNET BEFORE THIS AND HAD TO SWITCH IT TO RESIDENTIAL BECAUSE THEY WANTED TO CHARGE 350$ PER MONTH TO HAVE 1GBPS. TARGOS CONCEPTS ON PRICE ARE ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS AND ACCORDING TO THEIR OWN STAFF YOUR RATE WILL BE BASED ON CASE BY CASE".BUT NOW LUCKILY AXION/DERY COMUNACATION ARE COMING TO HEMMINGFORD WITH MUCH BETTER PRICES AND A LOT MORE AFFORDABLE RATES FOR EVERYONE ..TARGO

Fibre-Optic internet reception is generally fine as advertised. Telephone service is definitely not acceptable. Conversations are interrupted by technical glitches, Caller ID and Call Waiting are non-existent. The company only communicates with us when prodded and then only with hollow promises of assistance. The impression is of a broche-à-foin business struggling unsuccessfully to behave in a professional manner. I've read all the reviews in this collection. Not impressive at all.UPDATE June 26th 2021I happened to mention to a Targo employee that most of the Targo reviews on this site were negative. You won't believe what his response was: It's normal to have a mostly negative reviews." Yes

*UPDATE*After being a customer with Targo Communications for over two years, we have sadly had many issues. Originally we had a business account with them and were promised quicker service calls(weekends) and better pricing. Unfortunately this was not the case, weekend service calls are not available and pricing is 3x what residential customers pay. We decided a month ago to switch our account to residential in order to have better pricing. We just learned of a new promotion with a much much lower price and inquired as to whether or not we could benefit from this promotion. The service representative initially said absolutely no as we are not new clients. We explained that we have been loyal clients for over two years and asked if she could check into this for us. When she returned to the call she said that this promotion is not available in our area. We found this odd as a close neighbor just signed up for the promotion. The representative quickly changed her response to Each decision is case by case". We are very dissatisfied with this answer and feel lied to by Targo.My family and I moved to Hemmingford a few months ago. Unsure of which company to pick for our internet services

Just get connected with Targo fiber in Hinchinbrooke. I fight for more than 30 years (start with 56k modem) to get borderline internet until today. I start with the 50/10 package that is already $40 less than my old (not Targo), not too reliable, point-to-point wifi connection that was around 15/10mbps on the best day. More, I just ditch Bell telephone and Distributel long distance, saving close to $100 monthly to replace with a VOIP solution (Not Targo). On top of that, try to sell a house in 2021 without access to a decent internet connection. This is not luxury, my home internet is my place of work for almost 15 years and will be my retirement surplus.As for the quality of the internet, it’s simply stellar compared to my old point to point• I get the 50/10 & more ALL THE TIME — ABSOLUTELY STABLE even in peak usage hours or in weekends• Ping at 2 milliseconds (compare to 30 to 100 on my old connection)• Jitter at under .2 millisecond (compare to 20 on my old connection)• Absolutely no loss packetsMy VOIP phone is passed from almost unusable to as clear as a landline. (Almost as clear... VOIP is a capricious technology)Also, the installation was fast, clean and professional by a polite technician that follow all security protocols for COVID.What can I say THANK YOU!Note: I probably go soon with the 300/30mbps package. Their prices are completely fair.Thanks to all participants & Targo to bring Hinchinbrooke to the 21st century. The next sucker to go will be Bell Satellite at more than $80 a month, who needs that when you have Netflix, Prime and the others.

After years of frustration and struggles with the service and customer service - we are finally happy to share that the customer relations person saved the day for us - combined with the tech crew and upgrades to fiberoptic.We were previously on outdated equipment that the company no longer had the ability to upgrade and since we live out in the country having fiberoptic has made THE difference we needed. Thanks Serge and the Targo team.

We just got Targo's Fiber Optic Internet installed - Super job done by the ladies who did the installation. They were so pleasant, and they left everything nice and neat when they finished. The internet is SUPER FAST and such an obvious improvement - have tried different options, including Satellite and this is so much BETTER! Country living has finally got the benefit of a RELIABLE high speed internet service, thank you TARGO!

After an outage of 3 days and an email and call to their technical department professionals, they were able to exceptionally accommodate me based on my availability in regards to my work schedule. Repair Techniciens we're on site within hours. 4/5 Stars because there is always room for improvement if not I would give 5/5

A great organization with super personal and an excellent product. My initial contact with the sales department was excellent, the two young men that came to install the service were efficient and polite and the service that I am receiving is wonderful. All in all a great group of people.
