Dr Song Acupuncture & Massage Clinic

I was having a lot of pain in my left knee for which I received six treatments. It has improved quite a lot. Not 100% but much better. At 70 years of age I know my joints never will be 20 again so I am very gratrful to Dr. Song for her care and attention.

A massage with Jason is a workout! He intuitively knows where all your knots are hiding and gets to work. His hands are strong and he knows how to manipulate any tension away. He asks where you feel pain and what area he should work on. I feel much better after just one appointment. I’m looking forward to my next session and how much more he can release the tension in my neck and shoulders. Thank you Jason.

I have been to this clinic a couple of times already. Jason, the RMT there, has very firm and strong hands, which are great for deep issue message and loosening all the knots in my shoulders. Dr. Holly looks after the acupuncture part. After a couple of sessions with her, I was making improvements that I couldn't otherwise obtain from my multiple physio sessions. Highly recommended!

Firstly, the photos on google are NOT what this clinic looks like- outside or inside. Either they have moved and downgraded significantly or are using false photos. I found the clinic quite dirty, specifically the floors and linens. The space is not set up well for a healthcare clinic: when the staff came in and out of treatment rooms, the people in the wait room can directly see the patients scantily clothed lying on the beds. The treatment rooms didn’t feel peaceful, had fluorescent lights, and were freezing cold. The walls are thin and I could hear the conversation in the other room clearly.Dr. Song was very abrasive while doing intake with me, she rushed me through it and consistently interrupted me as I was sharing. She was not professional or trauma-informed considering her website says they provide services for emotional trauma. She didn’t explain what she was doing during acupuncture or how I was supposed to put on the gown/how many clothes to take off, etc. I felt quite flustered and exposed and the room was so cold I couldn’t relax during acupuncture.I would like to point out that following acupuncture, the massage by Anna was AMAZING. She was very kind and explained what she was doing as she massaged. She gave a high quality massage that felt really great and helped my neck/upper back tension.I came back to this clinic for a second round of treatment despite the negative patient experience just because the massage was so amazing and I wanted to give it a fair shot. Though the massage by Anna was great again, I won’t be returning to this clinic due to the environment.

Although Holly is really nice, I still have to be honest in my review. I thought she rushed patients in and out. I found the cleanliness was not great. I paid for 11 treatments for a pinched nerve in my lower back and I quit after 9 treatments b/c it was a waste of money and did not work at all. She never bothered to look at the x-rays or CT scan results I tried to show her. I felt patients were treated like cattle. One patient in, one out, one in, one out. She gave me 20 seconds to change. I would not recommend.

I love AH clinic! I had stiff neck and shoulder pain. Recently, the pain was getting worse, my fingertips have been numb. Doctor Song used acupuncture to treat my finger numbness. Jason , the massage therapist, is very knowledgeable, thorough, detailed, and respectful. Jason was able to identify the areas that really needed the focus and worked on them with his skilled and healing hands. I will definitely recommend AH clinic to my friends.

I had an absolutely amazing acupuncture experience at AH Massage & Acupuncture clinic.Safety and cleaning protocols have been top-notch,  It is a testament to the professionalism of this clinic that has risen above all others during a pandemic.Dr Holly is friendly, caring, professional and knowledgable acupuncturist. she listens passionately to what you say and recommends you the treatment that fits for you. Her expertises helped me tremendously and eliminated my lower back pain, soreness and tightness in just few weeks. I also signed up their new massage membership program with fantastic membership package price, The Rmt expertise from Jason is beyond superior than others I tried. I highly recommend this clinic for anyone suffering from any pain and looking for an experienced acupuncturist and massage therapist.

Seized back. Holly expertly fixes me up within a few sessions of acupuncture. It's really quite amazing. I walk in bent over, walk out straight, much better. Don't even hesitate. Go! Don't have to continually go back, like chiro or physio. She takes what she does, and my well being, very seriously.

Recently I got arthritis inflammatory elbow. I took extra strength Ibuprofen to control pain. A few days have passed, my elbow has not gotten better. I went to AH to have treatments. Dr. Song treated me with acupuncture and special needle therapy. I had been treated by other acupuncture therapists before. But after Dr. Song's special needle therapy, pain was released immediately and elbow can move freely without pain. After second treatment, I almost returned to normal.
