Really nice small restaurant. The food was great, although a bit on the salty side. Simple setup. They get busy in the kitchen quite often and there’s a bit of wait time for them to come out once you have ordered. Overall decent food. They don’t have Naan left this time. Will come back!

Both my parents are from Xinjiang so we were looking for some Xinjiang food while visiting Vancouver. This family-owned restaurant did not disappoint - the 拉条子 (hand-pulled noodles) and 大盘鸡 (large plate chicken) were authentic and delicious. The portions are super generous and the service was friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we stopped here again at the end of our trip! 10/10 would recommend - if your spice tolerance is low, make sure to let them know because Xinjiang dishes are spicy!

DO NOT ORDER TAKEOUTThis restaurant has the most ridiculous small portion of food.5.5 CAD for just one small bun.40+ CAD for host half a bowl of lamb stew, mostly just bones, barely any lamb.Don’t ever order takeout from this place, otherwise your family might very like starve even after spending hundreds here...

Quality is very good but portions are a bit small. Must try!Went here then first time ever since it opened. I reviewed the reviews first before coming to this place as this location has been pass on from 2 different businesses in the past already. So far I was satisfied with the reviews but with a few red flags in mind.So we came in and ask for a table the lady in the front doesn't speak much English but was welcoming and calm. After 10 mins of looking at the menu we decided to try the spicy lamb chow mein and spicy lamb plate ($20 -$25). We were offered tea while we wait, hot tea comes in one of those cool tea pots.20 mins later both our order came starting with the spicy lamb plate followed by the lamb chow mein. First bite you can smell the cumin and spices aroma, meat is a bit chewy but not all the flavour all in all is great with the touch and taste of wok smoke.Yes, portions are not that big so if you want to get full pair it with rice and something. Regarding the location and inflation nowadays I can understand why they price and the quantity is there, I am just glad that at least the quality is there!

Absolutely stunning Xinjiang food - a true hidden gem. The service was quite fast, especially considering there was just one chef and one server (we arrived late at 9pm) and that everything is handmade.Lamb skewers were so tender and tasty. The handpulled noodles were perfect. A fantastic unusual find in East Van, try it!

Walked in right at 13:00, and the team was on the floor praying. It was then I realized I was in for a real authentic experience, and I was not disappointed. We actually had a tiny bit of trouble communicating, but that won't stop me from going again. The noodles that I had were sensational. Portions can be a bit bigger though, but absolutely understandable as it's 2022.I noticed that some items on the menu had a price reduction rather than an increase, that's not something that you would see at all. I can tell that they were honest.(I have to confess that, originally I thought the establishment was operated by Han Chinese, until they changed the name to 可愛的烏魯木齊 / Lovely Urumqi)

This small halal restaurant is owned and run by a family. The ever-smiling sweet lady who served us did not speak English at all, but her demeanour was very warm and welcoming. She tried her best to understand our special request accurately and she succeeded! We were served complimentary tea right after placing our order, which was nice, the teapot especially being very classy. The food arrived in less than 10 minutes. We had ordered toasted buns with lamb filling, the spicy chicken noodle dish, and wok kebab with a request for stir-frying in their hand-pulled noodles. The buns were flaky on the outside and pillowy on the inside with an adequate amount of unctuous meaty filling inside. The chicken noodle dish had a unique flavour, something I had never tasted before Spicy, umami, and everything nice! The noodle was thick and round and the texture was tender yet chewy, again never tried noodle so good! The beef wok kebab was so tender, full of cumin and umami sauces (did not imagine this combination to taste so good!). This hand-pulled noodle was flat and tender and totally different from the other noodle dish. The portions were big, especially considering the fact that you can't eat a lot of this food given how rich it is. The meat-carb proportions were very satisfying! We paid around $70 for 3 of us and we ate well there, as well as brought back 2 portions worth of left-overs. They have a small space, but they tried to decorate with their traditional accessories and art pieces, which I thought were great! This experience showed us how words are not even needed for an amazing service if it comes from the heart! This place is so underrated and definitely deserves more that 4.2 stars rating on Google!
