It's hard to put into words just how lucky we feel to have had Ellen recommended to us and to have had her as the photographer for our spontaneous COVID mini-wedding. With less than two weeks' notice, Ellen not only agreed to photograph our elopement (which alone would have been amazing enough), but also she immediately began helping us brainstorm the ideal timing and location for the ceremony and additional picture-perfect spots in Cambridge for photoshoots immediately afterward. Setting aside her incredible talent for capturing love on camera and visualizing hidden gem backdrops, her personality was the highlight of working with her. She's funny, charismatic, and so genuine in a way that made us feel completely relaxed and natural as we posed around her (she also gives fantastic posing instructions!). We had an absolute blast spending a couple hours with her, are so grateful for the breath-taking pictures we'll forever cherish, and can't wait to highly recommend her to everyone we know!

Ellen is so talented and has such a great eye for light. Her photos pop and are beautiful! She was open to any ideas we had to get the shots we wanted. Her experience with weddings also helped when it came to scheduling out the big day. What’s more important is how comfortable she makes you feel! Ellen is a total pro in every sense. She helps you through camera shyness, skillfully navigates family dynamics, and makes sure to capture the memories and moments most important to you. Ellen was a joy to have around on our special day and we are so grateful to have amazing pictures to look back on. Would highly recommend to anyone - thank you so much Ellen!

Where to begin?! First of all, Ellen is an incredible photographer. We are in awe of the large collection of amazing photographs she took at our wedding. More importantly, she is just a wonderful person. We were not super comfortable having our pictures taken, and she made us and our families feel so at ease. Everyone was raving about her after our wedding. Ellen is funny, easygoing, and up for anything. The morning of our wedding we jumped into a cold Vermont swimming hole. Ellen enthusiastically agreed to capture this event— which meant getting into the water and getting her pants and shoes soaking wet. She did it all with a smile and the photos were awesome! We had to move our wedding date a few times, and Ellen was so flexible and kind throughout the process. Truly, I can’t recommend Ellen more highly! She is a true professional and has come to feel like a friend.

There aren't enough google reviews in the world to try and explain how instrumental Ellen was to making our entire wedding experience perfect. She is unbelievably easy going but meticulously organized, maintains the perfect balance of fun while her work ethic and output is second to none.Starting with our engagement session, Ellen taught us how to be comfortable in front of the camera and was able to create AMAZING pictures coming out of a pretty foggy, zero light, and HOT day. I love them so much.Then with our wedding, Ellen's flexibility with our ever changing plans was invaluable. She ran with everything we threw at her in the coming weeks and knew what to do to make the weekend flawless. She had a great handle on what I wanted as the bride, my vision for the photos, and knew all the bridesmaids/groomsmen/immediate family.I can't say enough amazing things about our experience with Ellen, my only advice is book her while you can! She is insanely busy for a good reason.My husband and I just talk about when the next life event is that we can have another photoshoot with her.Five stars x a million!

We could not recommend Ellen highly enough! My husband and I got married at a winery in Vermont and not only were we floored by the stunning pictures we received, but we couldn't be happier through the entire process leading up to our wedding day. Ellen was experienced, professional, creative, honest and made us feel at ease and relaxed with the entire planning process. She helped create a realistic timeline for our day and collaborated with our other vendors to make sure we had time for all of the pictures we wanted while still keeping a good flow of the day. She also managed to efficiently wrangle up our huge families and get photos of everyone, which is no easy feat! I could keep going, but to put it simply, Ellen is amazing and any couple would be lucky to have her there on your special day.

Where do we even begin with Ellen, there are too many great things to say! Our first call with Ellen was over an hour after connecting immediately about some personal similarities we shared - she was so easy to talk to. We worked with Ellen across each photo opportunity from engagement shoot, rehearsal dinner and wedding day.When it came time to our engagement photos Ellen was accommodating about dates and location which allowed us to pick our ideal spot where we were most comfortable. We were so happy with those photos and accommodated a quick turnaround so we could use them on our save-the-dates.Ellen was also flexible and leveraged her years of expertise to adjust the day-of timeline to account for many moving pieces and venue changes all while being cognizant of ensuring we got the shots that we wanted.Ellen was so easy to work with throughout the entire process and we cannot rave about her enough. On the day-of, she took charge to stick to the timeline we worked on but in a very polite and graceful manner. It made us realize how important it was to have a photographer who was comfortable providing direction to ensure we’re getting good shots and providing structure to a hectic day. Her second shooter, Ali, was also a fantastic addition – very happy with how our shots came out!Highly recommended to anyone who wants an organized, thoughtful, and quality-conscious photographer!

Ellen was the smartest and most fun choice we made at our wedding! She was flexible, fun and captured our people perfectly. We had a pretty non-traditional wedding and asked for a-lot of candids and Ellen delivered! Everytime we look through our photos we are reminded of the fun our people had which is the greatest gift. We are SO grateful for Ellen!

Ellen is the most amazing photographer and played an incredibly active role in helping coordinate many portions of our wedding day. We couldn’t have done it without her.To sum up what set Ellen apart was her keen dedication and focus on ‘us’ as a couple - hour long phone calls to understand who we are and what would mean the most to us for our photos.On the day of our wedding - we couldn’t imagine having anyone else helping direct our morning (where to be and at what time for which photo, how to stand, what to do with those awkward hands) all while making every minute incredibly natural.We will be using Ellen for any future photo shoots without a second thought.

Ellen did a fantastic job with our oldest son's senior photos. The quality of her photography and the way that she highlighted him naturally makes the photos so engaging to view as they create an emotion...specially for this Mom! Our middle son's senior photos will be this summer along with a family and work session!
