Jackie's followed in her grandfather's footsteps and learned the family business, she is now one of the best fur experts in Montreal. She knows everything about the history of your fur just by looking at it! She is fair, sweet and passionate about her work. You can see you for repairs, recycling, and custom items. I visited Fourrure Ajamian when my favourite fur coat was ripped so badly I thought it might be beyond repair. Not only did I receive it back looking like new, but I had one of the best customer service experiences ever. The wonderful siblings running this establishment knew everything about my coat and its origins, how to care for it, and how to store it, and offered me a very good price for the incredible repair job they did. They were also entertaining and passionate people, artists in their own right, who sell fur accessories of their own design as well as selling, remodelling and storing fur garments. I will definitely not be going anywhere else if I ever require fur repair/remodelling in the future.

I found Ajamian Furs while google searching fur repair shops. And I feel so grateful I went with them and trusted them with a beautiful magenta fur coat that was torn in a few places. Jacqueline is not just an amazing fur expert, she is also a very kind and caring individual and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to meet her and converse with her each time I was in the store. the work was seamless and it looks just like new. Now I can wear it again feeling secure that it won't fall apart, and it makes me look fabulous.But that's not all: I loved discovering their Fur Fashion: they truly are a well kept secret of Montreal: they design high quality beautiful garments, worthy of the world's best runways. and for those who don't know me (which is all of you reading these google reviews hahahaha): I am the lady that people always compliment on her style, ask her where she gets these ideas from etc... etc... etc..., so I get the community vote on style. so if I like their style: chances are most of you will too.If you need to repair your beloved fur or fall in love with a new piece: that's the place. I am not sure if they can, but maybe they can work with your own designs too? I will have to find out. Because when I can afford it: I want to 1) indulge in my creative tendencies with them and 2) support my needs for warmth and beauty and 3) my need to help the environment and animals by wearing furs, and 4) get the satisfaction of supporting the local economy.Fur clothing is fauna and flora friendly: because all the meat can be eaten, and because it takes a lot less energy and a lot less pollution than to manufacture synthetic fibers. Fur is biodegradable (after 200 years), where synthetic fiber isn't and attacks the animals in the ocean once it's discarded. Fur is also better for our health: turns out our skin absorbs synthetic micro fibers (or anything you put on your skin for that matter: and having plastic in your body: that is not good. with cancer statistics rising in industrialized countries, and fertility decreasing at alarming rate: it's time to acknowledge our skin absorbs the micro particles of our clothes. and to turn to natural fibers instead that our bodies have evolved over 1000s of years to be in osmosis with.You can look good, and do good too! who said one excludes the other?and extra bonus: support your local talents! support the creative diversity of Montreal!Jacqueline, you are soooo amaziiiing!

I brought in a much loved old family heirloom which is in need for repair, but wasn’t sure what can be done - the coat is older than me. Jacqueline is super nice and helpful. She repaired my coat in time for Igloofest and gave me tips on how to care for it. The shop has very good price for storage. They offer custom, up-cycle and sustainable design from coats, purses, mittens, hats, brooches, hair accessories.

I had such a wonderful experience with Jacqueline! She is so talented, knowledgeable and kind. She also did an amazing job restoring and repairing two of my vintage fur coats. This store hours they have online and at their store front show they are open on Saturday. However I made a special trip here and they were closed. Make sure to call them before coming as their hours aren’t reliable.

I call yesterday to make an appointment to fix my winter fur coat the lady was so nice but today that I when to the store, a man open the door, the store was smelling cigarette, so I told them that is their store and is their rigth to smoke there, so obviously i left, I call after to talk to the nice lady that is the owner an I told her my concerns and her answer was is my brother and he is allow to smoke inside. So any care about customer!!
