La Petite École (LPE)

Amazing first daycare experience for our son who attended La Petite Ecole starting at the age of 2. At first, we were apprehensive to start him in daycare but he adapted quickly thanks to the help of his teachers who were experienced, attentive and caring. At pick up time, they were always able to provide us with feedback on how his day went. He started daycare with a speech delay but after a few months, his speech had noticeably improved. He was eager to go to “school and talked about his teachers at home. He also had several food allergies which they were mindful of. Finally

La Petite Ecole has been the best possible first-time school experience for our son.The staff are amazingly knowledgeable, skilled, kind and warm. Jessica, Anais, Amina and Jen all bring their own unique skills - a completely well-rounded team!My son has exposure to French within our extended family but not at home and we are amazed by how much of the language he has picked up since he's attended LPE.When we pick him up each day after school - he exclaims with excitement I had a great day!"Thank you LPE!!!"

Both my boys have loved going to LPE. The atmosphere is very warm and joyous, the teachers are so caring and supportive, and they also help create a lovely sense of community. Looking forward to sending my new baby there when the time comes too!

Both our daughters attend LPE, and both of us couldn’t be happier as parents with theirs and our experience overall. The staff is super great! Especially Jessica and Anais who always have a warm presence and welcoming energy for the children.We speak a combination of English, Armenian and Portuguese at home and to see how they want to speak in French all the time and sing all the songs is so great. We can tell they are being engaged, learning and having fun. We’re grateful for LPE, especially during these times.My husband and I greatly recommend this school.

La Petite École (LPE) is a warm and friendly environment. From the very first phone call, Jennifer and Jessica were happy and patient with answering my questions. Jennifer was gracious in helping to find a schedule that worked for us. All the teachers are kind, peppy, and caring. They take time to tell each parent how the day went with their child at pick up. They provide healthy snacks and drinks so we don’t even have to pack a backpack.My daughter loves French school! After just a couple of weeks my 4-year old started singing French songs around the house. It’s so cute, and the songs are catchy tunes! The school provided a song book and videos of the staff singing so we could support French fluency at home. Two months later, my daughter was able to pass a French test, required by a future Francophone school. We don’t speak French at home but have been practicing each day with books and songs, though the comprehension is thanks to the fun learning at LPE. My daughter is very sad to know she will someday leave her wonderful friends and teachers at La Petite École.Prior to coming to LPE I had heard only good things about the school and I can see why. I’m referring friends here as well!

Thank you for your work with our son this past year. It was a big social adjustment for him and I’m so happy that we did it with LPE. Not only does he throw out french words and phrases, but he will be much better prepared for JK next year, having already spent time in a healthy and happy learning and playing environment. Your attention, care and passion are noticed and greatly appreciated. I’m crossing fingers hard that this next year is an easier one for all of you and we can move onwards and upwards!

My daughter had a wonderful first school experience at the summer camp when she was 2.5 years old. The staff are so sweet and caring, she was heartbroken to leave. She loves her new school, but almost a year later, she still asks to see the welcome video of Jessica, Anais and Marie just to see them! And the foundation of French she built in just 2 months there was great. I hope to send my second here, particularly if they transition to a full day model (crossing my fingers!) We highly recommend LPE :)

Our son joined when he was younger in the morning class and eventually grew and joined the afternoon class. We can’t say enough how pleased we are with LPE! The staff is just amazing! We trust them and know our son is not only safe but he is learning, engaged and is taught well! They care for the children and their families! We’re sad that we have to leave (because he is starting school) but LPE has been such an important part of his childhood education and experience, as is for us! La Petite Ecole is fantastic. The teachers are friendly and compassionate. They are also very experienced and bring the highest standards of early childhood education. My daughter is so happy there. They approach French language learning in a way that is very friendly and approachable for toddlers. We had the best experience. 10/10 would recommend.

What a delightful treasure! This school offers such a great program, and the gift of an additional (and beautiful) language is wonderful. The staff are lovely and kind, and offer a warm and inviting environment. Excellent!
