Wako is my favourite sushi spot in the city! The food is incredible and the fish is very fresh. The service is always on point. The atmosphere is filled with kind lighting and lovely music. I have easily been over a hundred times throughout the years. Whether you’re with family, friends, colleagues or by yourself, Wako is a restaurant you do not want to gloss over. I always order the Orange Dragon Roll when I go!

Observing the menu displayed outside, I selected the Wako bento priced at $26.99. Although it was expensive, it appeared to be a generous serving. Upon entering to make my payment, I was charged $31.95 instead of the advertised price. I requested to be charged the correct amount of $26.99, but the staff declined even after conversing with their manager. This contradictory approach of displaying one price and charging another is perplexing. The food I received was satisfactory, but it did not justify the total cost of $36 after taxes. It is important to honor your advertised prices and rectify any errors made.Don't cheat your customers.I will come back to see the sign is up or not.

Went to Wako for a quick bite before the movies, excellent and quick service. We had miso soup, their wonton soup (veg), gyozo (veg) and the spicy sushi combo (six pieces of tuna, salmon and crab each). We were deeply satisfied and were extremely impressed by the prices which for Toronto standards, amazing (i.e., very affordable). Thanks for the great food and experience!

Don’t advertise prices on a menu outside your restaurant window and then have 30 percent extra on the menu inside the store. Then the server told me they have had new prices for the past month. Wouldn’t come back for this reason. On top of all that soup had zero taste. Worst than instant noodles

A bit on the higher side of pricing however the food is pretty decent. I have the say it's one of the best sashimi I ever had. The fish meat they serve are very good with the sushi. I ordered wako Bento box which came with chicken tariyaki, tempura shrimp/veggie, stir fried veggies with assortment of sushi and sashimi. The chicken I find was a bit bland. Everything else on it was good. That dish was enough for 3 people.I would highly recommend this place.

After the movies we decided to eat out. Although Wako wasn't out first choice we decided to try it out. Once we walked in we were greeted and seated quickly. Service was slow but our server let us know in advance which was nice. She refilled our glasses with green tea and I really liked the aroma of it. After 15 mins our food came out. The food tasted great and service was exceptional. Would come back again.

Would return.Honestly pleasantly surprised but the value at this place as well as the quality of food. Expect $20-$25pp.Sashimi is generous, thick cut, fresh.Rolls are par and flavourful.Bento boxes are also worth, plenty of variety and lots of different choices. Steak Bento was cooked perfectly, fresh and tasty.Overall pretty happy with this place and pretty worth.

Wako sushi is my most common place for take outs. The food is tasty and affordable. I love their crunchy and torched rolls
