Better Contracting Services

Our roof was done by Better Contracting in December 2006 and it's still looks great.Recently a raccoon decided to rip up a gutter guard and eave rain deflector trying to get into the attic. We had a animal removal service come by and capture it. They did the best they could to repair the damage but it didn't stand up to heavy snow and rains. Weeks later I called Mike Graves at Better Contracting on a Thursday and the next day one of their teams showed up and quickly corrected the damaged area. No charge!We will continue to use Better Contracting for future projects and will highly recommend them to neighbors and friends.Thank you

Better Contracting Services did an amazing job. Mike and his team were very professional from start to finish. They completed the project on time. They also kept a clean worksite and picked up all of the ritess when the job was done. This was important to me as a previous contractor left me with a huge mess to clean. Most importantly, the roof looks GREAT!!!!!

Better Contracting did a shingle roofing project for our home after some recent water leaks of the 100 year old house. From start to finish, they were amazing to work with. Better Contracting took the time to explain their approach, answer questions, discuss options and did exactly what they said. The crew was very well organized, professional in every sense. They protected everywhere they were working, cleaned up at the end of each day every well and were a pleasure to work with. The care and thoughtful execution of the installation was excellent. I highly recommend this company for any roofing or flashing needs, I deal with a lot of contractors on different architecture projects, Better Contracting not only sets high standards, they deliver.

Just had Better Contracting Services do our roof after wind damage last year, and we had the most positive experience. We went with Landmark shingles and Better Contracting Services is one of a few companies that are certified by Certainteed to install Landmark and pass on their extended 4 star warranty. Got four quotes from roofers certified by Certainteed, and their price was the best. They also offered a discount to do the job in early spring (although we ended up doing it in early May for reasons not related to the company), and also agreed to upgrade liner to Diamond Deck, and to add 3 extra vents for exhaust fans, all at no extra cost. The installation was fast, professional and looked like quality, detailed work to me.Most importantly, the people in the company are what makes such a difference. Mike the owner, took time to speak to me multiple times and personally returned calls, which shows a level of care and commitment that is very hard to match, especially in a company of this size. Murray did the initial quote, addressed all our questions, and made no less than 3 additional trips to deliver shingle samples, including some hard to get varieties. Sarah who takes care of paperwork, has been great. Last but not least, Robert and his installation crew did a very nice and thorough job, the roof looks great, and should be good for many years. Overall, great experience with Better Contracting Services, they truly stand behind their name!

A very positive experience from start to finish. They installed our gutter guards a few years ago and we chose them to replace our roof and skylights. All through the process the company and crew were very professional and the work done to our satisfaction. Small glitches were dealt with immediately. We highly recommend Better Contracting, Mike and his team, and the quality of workmanship.

On a windy day, a sheet of shingles flew off my roof. I knew it was a matter of time as the roofing job was over 10 years old. I called and the owner Mike assured me that his crew will drop by to repair it. True to their word, I came home one day and it was done! No hassles at all.
