That Dutchman's Cheese Farm

Beautiful place, great zoo, nice shop. All of these things in one place and its incredible. I like the atmosphere so much: quiet, clean, far from big cities... The only bad thing about this place is the recent hurricane. It knocked down a lot of trees and animal cages. I think before that the farm was better. But I think that owners can handle it after some time. Anyway I wish this place all the best! P.S yam yam cheese. I really like it! BTW, good place for weekends.

Fantastic place to visit for the family or just to get some good Gouda! There are two entrances, one right before Brown Road, and one at Brown Road. I would highly recommend following google maps and not just the sign on the road as the initial one was very bumpy and narrow. There is a trail within the farm that has an entrance fee and you will be able to go see and feed the farm animals. There is also a barn with indoor picnic tables and a washroom and more outdoor picnic tables overlooking the animals in the pasture. We only had time to go into the store which was filled with Dutch products, toys, local products, salami, and of course cheeses! There are smaller sample sized cheeses (around $2) that you can grab and snack on as well as whole Gouda wheels for $30. The medium Gouda was so creamy and delicious and it was a perfect snack on the road trip. Couldn’t resist buying a couple more cheeses to try and share with friends. Would highly recommend visiting if you’re into cheese, want to learn more about Dutch culture, or pet some farm animals!

Had so much fun here. The cheese was delicious and the farm was lovely. Grounds and animals are clearly very well taken care of. I will definitely be back.

We visit every summer and the kids love feeding the animals! Great place to stop and break up the drive if you're heading to Parrsboro or Advocate. Plus the cheese of course is delish!

It's such a nice little shop with a nice selection of cheeses. I've been wanting to try Dragons breath for a while and it was so exquisite. There's more delicious things to try from jams, to salami to marshmallows and more. The views from the shop are breathtaking. And the little farm nicely placed along the trail in the woods is such a great addition for kids and anyone who likes to see some farm animals. Thank you!

Delicious cheese, friendly animals, and wonderful antiques - what's not to love?!

This is so worth the trip! I bought 5 cheeses, including the famous Dragon's breath, I loved it.The cheese shop is very charming, decorated quite rustic but cute. They have samples of the cheeses so you can try before you buy them. I wish they could ship cheese throughout Canada, I will miss these cheeses. The shop girl was very nice and helpful

Took my granddaughter there to visit with the animals and purchased some cheese, fudge and meat, all was very affordable which was surprising given most places like this gouge!We enjoyed the many flowers, shrubs and animals who seemed to live very stress free life, stalls were clean and sturdy.We will be returning again and highly recommend for anyone who loves nature, also want to add the Lady at the front desk was plesant and helpful

So much fun to visit this farm. You can touch and see so many animals and just walk surrounded by nature. The shop has many cheese choices and so much more. Bring your family and enjoy a nice day and the farm.
