Donnellan's Irish Pub
Great Irish pub in a great old building with nice high ceiling and decor.Stopped by here for a pint. All the staff appeared to be Irish as well as a large amount of the customers. Great and friendly staff. Decent selection of beers too. Haven't tried the food, but definitely will next time I stop by.

The atmosphere was great but the food and service left something to be desired! Had the fish and chips it was way over cooked to the point where it was dry and in places the batter looked burnt. A person with me also had the beef stew which was good but very very small portion. The service also was terrible, had to look for the server when any of use wanted another beer or condiments. Would not recommend unless just going to the entertainment which was great!

Came here with a group of Brits as we fancied a Sunday roast! I have to say, I wasn’t blown away by the roast on offer (no roast potatoes or yorkshire puddings?) so opted for the fish and chips and it was pretty decent! Very generous portion and a good price. The staff were absolutely lovely, which made the experience all the more enjoyable!

What a great place. The owner Dara is a true Irishman. The food was excellent and delicious. Nice bar and nicely stocked with Irish Whiskey. The wife and I both had the Irish Stew. Exactly what you would expect in a Irish Bar. I highly recommend this place for sure. Atmosphere was relaxing and the seating in the booths was large and roomy. Perfect for hanging out with friends.

Just a very nice place to go for drinks. Gentlemen was very nice and full of energy the first night we went. Second night we stopped in seemed like the people working avoided conversation with patrons at the bar. Hit or miss with the staff but over all super enjoyed my visit and will be back when in the city. Would recommend for any whiskey drinkers. They also have Heineken on tap! Bit disappointed they didn't have soda bread anymore but hoping they'll bring it back ! Taco chips were a hit.

I went there for the champions league final but it's not a sports bar. It has few screens but the streaming quality and bandwidth are bad and on top of that there was no volume. It's just my first time experience and that's why I am not giving a really bad rating as I don't want to judge based on one experience . And I did not try any food so no comments on that.

Dined here recently and ordered a couple pints and their potato nachos.I’m actually surprised this place is rated so high. The nachos were very one note and lacked flavour, there was hardly any cheese on them and they were dry and needed some sort of dipping sauce.I would have attempted to order a side of ranch for dipping but there was a stretch of time where we didn’t see our sever for 30-40 mins (we dined outside on the patio)I am for sure willing to come back and order something different on the menu, just hoping for better service and food next time.

I have some Irish friends who invited me to this amazing pub. Inside, everything is so friendly. Nice live musics, entertainments, good foods and drinks. And I like Irish people.

Not a very good selection of drinks if ur not a beer drinker. Also, all of their display btls are super dusty and dirty, along with the large mirror that sits between the two btl display shelves. Little off putting.

Donnellan's Irish Pub
I usually only post places where everything was excellent. Everything was not excellent here but I very nicely let the staff know and they absolutely rectified.. that's why I'm posting this. I'm sure my situation was a one off and the way they handled it was impeccable. Making it right is worth just as much as a mishap can be. Young people at the bar. Very nice service.
