Marie’s Guilt Free Bakery

Christmas cake was never a tradition in my family growing up, but it was in my partner’s. So each year I’m on the lookout for the perfect Christmas cake. I’m a long time customer of Marie and decided to try hers this year. It not only didn’t last, I had to go back and buy another! And, I now love Christmas cake too! She obviously uses the best ingredients and there’s even almonds! I highly recommend this Christmas cake, as well as her peanut butter cookies and biscotti too!

Easily the best gluten-free bread I've ever had. And their English muffins?Of course they're good, but good doesn't come close to describing them. They're the perfect combination of crispy, chewy, delightful goodness with every bite!

We ventured out to this place while visiting Vancouver to get some gluten-free english muffins to try and I regret not stocking up. They were so tasty, with great texture, toasted up amazingly well. We being from Quebec don't know when we'll get to have these treats again - they need to get go national!

Had their patties a couple times, so good! Also the English muffins are bomb. Very friendly service, thanks for making such wonderful options for people with allergies.

A few of the things I picked up were fantastic but the fruit cake....not so much. I could taste the plastic it was wrapped in...one bite and it hit the trash and it was super dry. I will definitely be back for other things but if it's wrapped in cheap pastic I just won't buy it. all in all it was a good, just not the fruit cake.

I love Christmas Cake and had practically given up on finding a good one (gluten-free or not.). A friend bought me one of Marie’s gluten-free Christmas cakes and I was stunned at how moist, flavourful and delicious it was. Ate my first one much too quickly and have already bought another one for Christmas. And I totally love her biscotti.

Went for the first time after a friend reccomend and brought us a sample. We had some freshly baked english muffins still warm for the oven and they were amazing! Not dense or dry like other gluten free and vegan ones we have tried from the big stores. With such an assortment of other things to try I cant wait to go back again.

We just tried Marie’s goodies this past weekend at the White Rock Farmer’s Market and we were very impressed!We have a house full of celiac, gluten intolerant, dairy free and vegans - all from allergy/intolerant/medical related issues and we have yet to find anything out in the valley that is easy to get to and worth it from a taste and quality stand point - UNTIL NOW!We tried so many things in order to get a good idea of what our favourites were.I can honestly say her cookies are EXCEPTIONAL!!! Our favourites being the peanut butter and rocky road.The cake donuts are very good - moist and flavourful without being too sweet.The Nanaimo Bar came highly recommended even though none of us are big Nanaimo Bar fans. If you love chocolate - this is for you! Also not too sweet. You can actually taste the coconut and whipped marshmallow filling she uses. THE BEST NANAIMO BAR I’ve ever had.We thoroughly enjoyed the vegan Jamaican patty.We still have the sugar free fruit pie and scone to eat, but by now I’m positive they will both be delish.She does a lovely English muffin that stays soft and pliable that we want to get next time.Her prices are quite reasonable with quantity discounts offered for some of the items.If you are anywhere near her Langley location, gluten free/vegan/dairy free/celiac or not, do yourself a favour and try her bakery! Our mum can eat anything and has no allergies and she loved everything!This is the type of gluten free/vegan product where if no one told you it was so, you would have no clue.

I was recently put on a wheat free, gluten free diet and have never felt better. The issue is finding great breads and pastries in this area. I found Marie's Bakery and tried a few items. Frankly never had such delicious bread, muffins and sweets. They are simply the best! Highly recommended, at least they have tons of flavor,, enjoy! you will not regret it.

I feel guilty after ordering cake from here , hard cake, not tasty , we ask for heart shape and the shape was not proper heart and expensive according to the quantity. You can get much better cake in 60$ from other places.I was not able to reply you, i never mentioned I ordered cake this or last year , I ordered cake in 2021 but forgot to put review
