Riding Mountain House

Beautiful set up with access to kitchen when needed and outside living. Fire pit was a really nice touch. Rooms are spacious and clean, bed comfy. Hosts were friendly and very accommodating with our dog. Highly recommended!

Excellent bed and breakfast which felt more like a good small hotel. The room were very clean and tidy, freshly renovated, with private bath. There was a good Wifi speed available, satellite TV. We could enjoy a decent continental breakfast with coffee, juice, milk, cereal, fresh bagels and skones. There was a great jacuzzi hot tub which we tried and sauna available which we didn't. The place is very quiet and serene, backing to a forest, so you're getting lot of privacy, but there is also a place to sit with your party if you'd like. It's 15 minutes walk or 3 minutes drive to the Riding Mountain park entrance, so very convenient. Dawna was very polite and accommodating host, which was appreciated.

Spent 2 nights at riding mtn house and it was delightful. We started our trip going on a long hike up to bald hill and checked in later than excepted but Dawna was very accommodating and welcoming. We stayed in the birch room- large, spotless and the bed was comfortable. The on site amenities were great especially the hot tub which was nice to soak in after an active day in the park. The breakfast, nespresso machine, screened in porch, and fire pit were a nice touch. Just a few min drive to clear lake. Thanks for hosting us and we are looking forward to coming back.

The rooms and guest areas were clean, comfortable and we had everything we needed. It was nice to have access to the kitchen area for making our own dinner. Dawna and Barry were very gracious hosts. We especially appreciated them setting out some of the continental breakfast the night before, so we could eat before leaving early in the morning.The setting was near the park, quiet, and in a natural setting.

Went up for a couple days in the winter and had a wonderful time. Dawna and Barry were great hosts. Rooms were clean and a good size. Access to the hot tub was a huge plus especially at night time You are close to riding mountain but still far enough for some quiet relaxation. We would highly recommend staying here.

We always enjoy our stay at Riding Mountain House. It is clean and in a perfect location. We love the screened-in verandah and the gracious hosts. We will definitely book there again. 5/5

We loved our winter getaway to Clear Lake and really enjoyed staying at Riding Mountain House. The hot tub and sauna were a welcomed treat after a day of cross country skiing!

We had a lovely two-night stay at Riding Mountain House. The B&B was very clean. The Pine room is dog-friendly and was well appointed and comfortable. The breakfast was perfect for a day of hiking. And Dawna was a wonderful host.And we were probably only 2-3 minutes from the south gate of the park.We will certainly be back next fall for another stay.

Fantastic location and a very reasonable price. The hosts are lovely and know a lot about the area. Right next to Riding Mountain National Park, we came in the winter and loved the hot tub! We would love to come back in the fall with some more people.

Wonderful set up to make you feel at home! Dawna was very welcoming and kind. The pet friendly suite was wonderful for the two of us and our dog (65lb pup!). We loved that breakfast was available when we needed it instead of scheduled like so many other B and Bs. The accessibility to the kitchen and its contents made it nice to be able to make ourselves snacks, lunch or, dinner whenever we wanted. Great assortment of breakfast choices! Loved the beautiful well-taken care of property. All the extras were great - hot tub, sauna, fire pits, and giant porch! Rooms were great and clean! All the extras like makeup wipes and robes made it even more lovely! Highly recommend this place and we hope to go back soon!
