Association promotes Italian culture. Events are geared around food. They also have language and cooking classes.

Interesting venue that you can rent. The hall downstairs is a good size. It has a bocce ball area, so that was fun to play. The bar staff were friendly as well.

The ICCA is a wonderful community center that promotes Italian culture in Halifax. The newest group of volunteers started their watch with a great dinner last night!

After visiting Italy (and falling in love with it!), I wanted to have a way to keep my many memories of this incredible country alive, so I looked into the ICCA and its activities. I discovered that they do, indeed, have activities year-round for both Italianos and non-Italians alike.I have found that volunteering during the annual Italian Cultural Festival has been a great way to connect with the lovely people in that community as well as broadening my cultural experience. To those who would like to discover more, I would suggest that they request the seasonal email newsletter of activities.

I always attend Opera Valentine held at the centre which is a fundraiser for Opera Nova Scotia. The dinner is always delicious!

The sunday dinners in the fall are open to the community and are absolutely delicious! $20-$25 gets you an enormous meal including dessert! They also have amazing italian cooking classes, just register ahead of time!
