I had a property appraisal done in preparation for selling my home in the Highlands. I dealt with Nancy, Gerhardt, and Andy. Overall, we had a positive experience. Northern Lights provided a fixed fee for the residential appraisal, which included both sales and cost-based appraisals. As a consultant myself, I have to say that Northern Lights' reporting is very clear, professional, and meets the needs of those they serve. They showed their work in detail, and provided explanations for the price adjustments made to comparable properties. It appears that they follow industry best practices, and are definitely a respectable operation.We had one hiccup regarding the scheduling of the appointment with my tenants, but this was overall dealt with professionally and the follow-up from Gerhardt was very much appreciated.
