Komri Engineering

We recently worked with Komri on our house designs. We initially chose them as they seemed professional and said they would be able to produce the fastest results of everyone we spoke with. However, we did not receive our plans until well after the date they were promised. We then asked to make some changes/ additions and were quoted an extremely high amount compared to the initial cost. Upon questioning this quote, we were told we were being abrasive" and they dropped us as a client. They then called the city and revoked their stamped drawings right before we were about to receive our building permit

Although I did not deal personally with Komri Engineering, I have family who recently did, and their service and treatment towards my brother and sister-in-law was terrible. After spending thousands of dollars on house drawings, Komri refused to make adjustments without wanting nearly half the cost of the original drawings. When they were questioned about their pricing, they told my brother they no longer wanted to do business with him. After months of being late to the original estimated date, Komri went ahead and took the easy way out instead of providing even a subpar level of customer service. Although they did send him his money back, they called the city to revoke their plans at the tail end of the permit process. I would personally avoid working with Komri Engineering to avoid any future headaches and hassle.

I used Komri's structural prints in the field and was most impressed with the attention to detail from the installation perspective. The prints were easy to read and had the correct amount of detail pertaining to installation (which I often find is lacking). My interaction with the team was also professional and quick. I highly recommend using Komri's services.

Despite being incredibly busy Karim took our call, was honest about the lead time for starting HVAC design for our project, and provided the proper paperwork promptly to aid our permit submission.Some places in town pair their design service with equipment sales which can be a conflict of interest I find.Thanks KOMRI.
