We received excellent customer service at Standard Building Supply in Burnaby. Harold helped us select the wood for our project. He is extremely friendly, very knowledgeable about the different types of wood and also went the extra mile to help us.The manager Garrett came out to talk to us and gave us some great advice and pointers because he had built something similar and knew what would work for us. Just wanted to say that we were amazed by their customer service. Thanks again!

The customer service at this location is non-existent. Everytime I come to this yard there is an issue of some kind, which the staff never seem interested in solving. The selection of materials is good, but the headache of dealing with the employees there makes me avoid this place like the plague. Go to the North Vancouver location, the selection isn't as good but the customer service is top notch and if you've got time you can order materials to the North Vancouver location. Don't go to Burnaby if you want to deal with staff telling you that lumber with boot prints on it is damaged and can't be refunded. Ridiculous.

Varied lumber stock here. Likely if they don't have what you want then its probably just not available.Great cedar stock with all the old school full rough sizes.Friendly helpful staff and decent prices for the occasional small order for homeowners.I recently picked up a small trailer load of cedar to rebuild my old fence. All of the wood good and straight and quite useable. No waste.

Customer service is poor I went to deliver the load often all the time nobody cares about they just loading and unloading their own trucks every time 2-3 hours sitting outside waiting for their call and no parking spot
