I.D.A. Brintnell Pharmacy & Travel Clinic

So disappointed with this location and the staff. Selling expired medicines to patients.I’ve came here two times for medicine at this location. The first time I figured it was almost expired a week after I purchased it, I didn’t care and I was like it’s my fault for not checking when I purchased it. The second time my wife purchased a baby medicine for an unborn child and she mentioned it to them that we need to stock up before the baby comes. When I knew she bought the medicine from there the first thing I asked is if she checked the expiration. As always it was expiring in couple months, so we went back to ask for a refund and why they keep selling products thats almost expired, all what we got was sorry we can’t do anything about it. After a long and rude argument with the manager he suggested that we put it in the garbage and buy another one. I don’t know how they be so cool knowing they could hurt and risk someone’s health. Please watch out when u purchasing products, you don’t want to be the reason your loved ones get sicker or risk their life.

Booked an appointment at this Pharmacy online because I need the Yellow Fever Vaccine for my upcoming trip to Ghana and the Pharmacist Olu was able to seat me right away, provide important information about my travel as it is my first time traveling to this part of the world. He gave me informative documents and was able to fulfill my request of getting the vaccine as well as traveller's medication in case of an emergency. I will admit I was not prepared for my trip and going to speak with him helped me out big time. I would recommend this facility to my friends and family anytime! 5 stars!

My travel appointment was incredibly slow and took three hours. Olu was very long winded. I rushed out without realizing that I had bought a bunch of extra over-the counter medication that I did not need and would not be able to take on my carry-on. He would not accept returns and offered to throw it out. I will never go back to this location.

I'm so pleased with the service I received from Brintnell Pharmacy Staff. They went above and beyond to help me with my question. Thanks once again

Went into the pharmacy today .. had horrible service! I asked for infants Tylenol which he gave me!.. I had told him that we were expecting our baby in 3 months and that I would just like to keep it on hand Incase I ever needed it (completely disregarded this conversation) and continue to sell me 2 PRODUCTS that expire in 4 months ! So I wouldn’t even be able to use them! And when I came back to the pharmacy to return them, he refused to do so because they clouldnt be resold.. which isn’t my problem! He continued to say it’s the Alberta colleges choice ! Which isn’t true! I also work in a pharmacy, so he thought he could lie, the ACP does NOT say you can’t refund patients ! It says you can’t resell a product, all I wanted was a refund for the products he sold me knowing I couldn’t even use them! And continued to talk to me as if it was my fault for buying them and that I didn’t understand the policy .. this was my first time here and definitely my last! I go to the clinic to see my physician but because of this pharmacist I won’t be going back there at all for anything!

Came here for a follow up on my tb skin test. The pharmacist was super helpful and very knowledgeable and I enjoyed his explanation. I see a lot of reviews being left about them not giving refunds. In the end they are a small pharmacy and the staff are very nice and super helpful.

Went in this morning to get some T1s as I was involved in a car accident on June 14 and I am unable to sleep because of pain. I informed the pharmacist that my doctor is on vacation until the end of this month and that he had suggested I take T1s for the pain. I originally refused this because of the codeine content and I wasn't comfortable about taking them. I began taking Aleve painkillers but they're not accomplishing the job. He then suggested that I go to emergency and I told him I don't have time to sit there for 6 hours because I have a job. He then insisted that I try some over the counter product at which point I told him I wanted the T1s that my doctor had suggested originally. I then told him thanks for nothing and I left. If I could give a ZERO rating for this place I WOULD.

I had a wonderful experience. Olu is an excellent pharmacist, extremely knowledgeable and thorough, and very helpful. He walked me through the whole process of traveling, especially in the context of the pandemic, very clearly and answered all my questions. I am sure I will come back here in the future, even though it is quite far from my home.

Went in for our Covid boosters. The pharmacist was very nice and explained everything thoroughly to us, helping to put us at ease. We were even offered the elusive rapid home test kits which was a nice surprise.

If you want to wait 2 or 3 hours for any type of travel service then by all means go here. Went today with my husband as we thought it would be a short wait. Doctor kept kicking my husband out of the room and taking other patients. Still waiting and its been 2 hours. What a joke. We just came here for a tb test as requested by immigration. But this place is a nightmare. Stay away.
