Lanny worked with me to fulfill my exact specifications by deconstructing, rebuilding and moving my shed. He also fenced my yard, built a retaining wall and gate entrance with pavers, laid sod and generally refurbished a sad backyard into a mini oasis. He listened attentively to what I wanted and we worked together through the final product. He also followed up a few weeks later to make sure I was happy with his work. We had a complete deck rebuild. Services provided were professional and efficient and of a high standard. Specifically we were provided estimates and ongoing updates as the project progressed and the final cost was within discussed budget. We are very pleased with the overall appearance of the new deck and the effectiveness of how it provides water drainage. We used Lanny to finish our fence and build another, as well as a few other jobs. He was professional, courteous and you could tell he had a high degree of skill. We have thoroughly enjoyed working with Lanny and his team! Brambleberry Residential Services completed a roofing replacement for our shed, patio awning and side yard awning this week, in addition to warranty work on the fence they installed last summer. We hired Lanny and team for the roofing project, and when he came out to walk the property, he noticed our gate was no longer functioning correctly and that one of the frames of our fence panels had cracked! The work to repair our fence to it's original state was completely quickly and free of charge during our roofing job. I really like the work done by Lanny and his team. They take pride in their work, giving me confidence that the output will be at par with my expectation. Oh they delivered...and more! Brambleberry was our choice for a recent renovation from among the contractors who responded with a proposal for our project. Our There were 3 main deliverables - 1) Fireplace redesign; 2) Powder room reno and 3) Kitchen renovation. The big ones were #2/#3. The Brambleberry team provided the prep work and finishing work - demolition, electrical, plumbing, painting, tiling, backsplash, external wall venting among others.Key things why Brambleberry stands out:1) Communication - progress reporting and billing and documented exchanges of what has been agreed on; explain things in plain language to clarify a deliverable.2) Attention to details where it matters - e.g., providing options for grout colors, matching to our color scheme, precise placement of ligting and fireplace mantle and lots more3) Planning, Scoping and Execution - documented project tracking as per project plan; there were timeline slippage but course corrected4) Reasonable pricing - not the lowest in the overall scheme of things, the money paid was for the value received5) Change management - despite scope changes, the team was willing to undergo additional tasks that were challenging with the overall budget not dinged.Lastly, it is seldom you gain friends and have fun from this kind of projects.
