Whistle Stop Neighbourhood Pub
Excellent live music by Blurred Vision yesterday evening at the pub. I enjoyed sitting, listening to it and drinking my Guinness. The service by the young waitress was very friendly and extremely attentive. Despite being so busy we were not forgotten in the crowd of people. The band played late and strung together a whole lot of my favorite songs which made it a memorable evening. Will definitely come back for another performance like this one.

We stopped in here . The fanny bay oysters are delicious!! Cod fish and chips are good too! The calamari not so much. Didn't seem cooked enough i like mine a little crisper. But overall the service was excellent.

Good waitresses, good beer. Dirty old bar. Terrible food. Should have learned the first time but I was dumb enough to order food again. It’s like a bad mom is cooking for her drunk children. Excellent prices.

First of all, they have air fresheners on timers all over the place and I don’t know how anyone could eat in there!I had a gift certificate so I ordered food to go.I ordered the Cajun chicken Caesar wrap and Caesar salad. There is absolutely no Caesar dressing in the wrap, and the chicken doesn’t have any Cajun flavour, and the romaine lettuce is bad. I could actually smell the bad romaine before opening the take out containers!Terrible food and the bar is dungy with air fresheners to cover the smell!

Saturday night steak and prawns special.. absolutely amazing and can't beat the price. Awesome service as well!!Another trip for dinner. Had the Baron of Beef. It was absolutely delicious!! Service was great again too.

Your good old fashioned Canadian dive bar, food is amazing, beef is cold, staff is friendly and the music is at Perfect volume. Seafood chowder, Reuben sandwich, deep fried pickles, wings and fries.. classic bar food with high quality ingredients in generous portions

It is a Pub with good food and friendly staff. We had a great dinner. We will definitely be going back.
