H&R Block

Took my overdue taxes in recently and Gillian was the agent who sorted them out for me. She is a very professional woman, as well as kind and patient. My off season taxes took a reasonable amount of time to be completed. Gillian was very knowledgeable and informative when we went over my taxes upon pickup. Gillian even offered further services to me that I wasn't aware H&R block offered. I will definitely be back for the service she offered if needed. I have already recommended Gillian at Terminal Ave H&R Block to friends and family. Great experience here, would recommend to anyone.

Got my taxes done on the 14th of April and it's now June 1st and still have yet to receive my return. Not sure why it's taking this long, but I am beyond annoyed.Definitely not going back to H&R next year.

Had a couple years to file. My tax professional Derek was incredible kind, and efficient. I was In and out in a half hour. He was very helpful and answered all my questions. He helped me get as much money back as quickly as possible. Definitely will come back. Thank you!!

Not a great experience. Last year and again this year- I’m highly disappointed. Lack of returning phone calls. Multiple trips into town to finish my taxes this year and last. Reception told me I could come back the next day and sit & wait and someone would get to me within an hour. Next day- I was told I had to make an appt for a week later.CRA wasnt authorizing tax consultant to see my file- she suggested I call back and she would let me know re: status. Multiple phone calls trying to get my tax consultant to return my call and nothing. Very frustrating.

Let me start by saying(my pass 5yrs)H&R block in lethbridge Alberta was awesome,great service and customer service.I would always do a drop off(due to my work schedule),I would always get a friendly good morning/afternoon and leave after all formalities.with in 4 to 7 days(longest was 9days)i would get a call my taxes are done....This year I recently moved back to B.C due to my wife passing away and she was born in B.C. I decided to have H&R block have my service again and get the same service..well I was wrong....I dropped my taxes off and was told it would take about 10 days so ok I can deal with that. Well today is March 22 and I dropped off on March 3rd..do the math thats 19 days.If thats not bad enough I have called them 5 times and was told it still not done so I asked for a call back with an update to see whats up and they didn't even have someone call me with an update. And then today I decided enough is enough and went in to pick them up, cause by this time I am not to happy.I asked the gentleman at counter may I get my taxes back and he already had them in his hands and said to me they need to send it to another person that can get it done......really...so me being me I asked how long now and he said a few more days....and they couldn't have someone call me to let me know or keep me in the loop.......When you tell a customersomething you should do what you say and if you can't you notify the customer on whats up(keeping the customer in the loop) and by my experience this H&R block doesn't have good customer service .....This place has lost my service and the lady I live with (she was a customer of theirs)sevice too. In the future maybe this place will learn better customer service

I had four years of taxes that needed to be filed, Suchir was the fellow that helped me and he was excellent! Besides getting it all done in just over an hour, he went above and beyond by bringing up and explaining how to use a very large tax credit (20k+) that we had assumed wasn't ever going to be accessible. Great experience, if you need help with your financials this is the office to go to.

Worst experience ever dropped taxes off 3 weeks ago, and still were not completed. I will never use this location again

Shoutout to Gillian gray I highly recommend her will be going to see her next year without a doubt. Easy going, makes you feel comfortable, great attitude and gets things done. She’s one of the best people I’ve ever come across in that place! Keep doing great things Gillian!

Suchir Gupta took me as a walk-in client and made quick work of my tax preparation. He also suggested several ways to reduce my payable taxes. I’ve made sure to account for some expenses and now I’m getting a bigger return. Great work!
