Hertz Car Rental - Airdrie - 59 East Lake Crescent Northeast HLE

Zero stars. THE WORST. STAY AWAY. They sent us off with a car that had a flat tire, then when we noticed and drove back, they said what do you want me to do with it". They sent us with a stranger to a gas station to pump up the tire. They also didn't put the rental into the system so called hertz for a tow truck

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. First of all, I legit called this place 14 times.... 14 times, and not once did they bother to pick up. I tried different times of the day, I tried different days. But no one would ever pick up the phone. On the day of my rental, I was offered one of two vehicles to choose from. The first one was absolutely filthy inside. Dog hair, garbage, mud. It was filthy. It was also missing parts of the left fender. The other vehicle was also dirty in the inside. But it didn't seem to have much exterior damage, so we took it. It was low on gas, so I had to go fill it up before my trip. Which is HIGHLY inconvient. Also noticed, the tire pressure sensor was on. So also filled up the tire. It was not until we drove 1300km's that we noticed there was a nail in the tire. The explains the low pressure the entire trip. We had to get the tire repaired before we could make our journey safely home. I also noticed on the rental agreement they listed the outgoing milage wrong, and the incoming milage wrong. They also didn't mark that it was down a quarter tank. I did not bother to call them, since they didn't pick up the last 14 times I tired. I went straight to corporate with my issues regarding this rental. They offered me $50 off my rental. BIG DEAL. After the hassle I went through. I will NEVER rent from this location or another Hertz ever again. Not a chance. Beware of this place.P.S-I found half a bag of chips under the seat. Clean the cars, you slobs.

If I could give them MORE stars I would! The cars are clean and fresh smelling. The staff is wonderful and have the time to chat.(they should give other businesses lessons on customer service1) I have booked from them 2 times in the last month. Hertz here in Airdrie is a hidden gem!

I rented a vehicle from Hertz Airdrie for work on March 2, 2023 (pickup at around 12:30-1 pm) and I was not my best customer self. I don't know the name of the gentleman that was working, but he was very polite and kind. I apologized to him for being in a bad mood - I was not particularly nice to him, and the entire time he handled the situation calmly and compassionately. I really appreciated his customer care, because he definitely had the right to be rude right back to me, but he didn't. He continued to be nice and even wished me a better day at the end of our interaction. I'm sorry I was so crabby! Thank you for being so kind. I honestly will likely choose this location for rentals moving forward because this gentleman was so kind to me. I really appreciated it!

Best car rental ever!!!! I rent cars often in Canada and other countries... Alberta has been getting worse over the last few years. Hertz Airdrie is a Dimond in the rough! Great price, amazing vehicle (managers choice), service was the best I've ever had. Chris took the time to help me move the back seats around, showed me how all the buttons worked. (I'm not very tech savvy) and he was friendly and made me feel great about the rental. The vehicle was outstanding, a hybrid which is great with the gas prices spring. I would recommend Hertz Airdrie to anyone looking to rent a vehicle in the area.... Way better than anything you'll get from the YYC airport! Chris is awesome!!!

Great customer service (way better then I have ever Recieved at enterprise) the SUV was an actually SUV, it was clean and well taken care of. They had no problem letting me extend my rental for a day. Great

Poor service and did not receive the car we were supposed to get.

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Absolutely horrible service, they put you on hold for 20 minutes and say they will call you back and never do. Well I had the rental they would charge my credit card for in real charges, and when I complained they would make up excuses and then put it back on my card. I dropped off the rental car three months ago, and I have proof my insurance covers the rental and they charged my credit card the other day for the full amount. Trying to get a hold of this location and get any help took a whole day with no answers. And there customer service is a joke as you never get through. I have been trying to get ahold of them for two days now and I can’t get any response. I strongly advise never give these people your credit card and don’t rent from them. Horrible and shady business.
