Goldies Cafe + Eatery
Great concept, breakfast and lunch, Cafe. Latte and mimosa flights are so innovative! Good food choices that have unique twists and are ideal for a nice lunch or brunch. It's a very popular spot and deservedly so. It will be even better once they go beyond counter service to full table, but that doesn't detract from the overall vibe.

Goldies Cafe + Eatery
We finally got a chance to visit Goldie’s. We started off with the latte flights. The taste was average. Didn’t blow us away. I had the chicken salad and girlfriend had the lobster soup and veggie wrap. My chicken salad was delicious. The soup was very flavourful. The wrap was underwhelming.

Goldies Cafe + Eatery
This place is so cute! We were a table of 6 and was able to get a seat right away. The latte flight was delicious, I really liked that you had the option to get it iced or hot. I had the waffle board, it was pretty good. They were out of the fruits so I got a yogurt parfait instead. Overall, pretty good.

Goldies Cafe + Eatery
We finally made it to Goldie’s today! And we had such a LOVELY experience there! Starting from the hot and iced latte flights to the flatbreads and their absolutely delicious waffles, everything was SCRUMPTIOUS!!! The service was as awesome too! It was super busy but efficient and organized! I am so glad we finally made it there! Going to recommend it to all my friends and family!

Goldies Cafe + Eatery
First time to Goldies, even though we live just 5 mins away. The service is top notch, we went on a weekend and had the Goldie's Big Bite Breakfast board, Grilled Cheese Sandwich and the waffles. The food tasted pretty good, loved the waffles a lot. However the best part of the experience was the staff, they were great! First time in a long time where we experienced a team of young staff that really showed great service; well mannered, very pleasant and were professionals! So great hires and if this was a result of good training then kudos to the management and training staff. Need more places with good customer service experiences like this place. Thanks for the good food and great service!

Goldies Cafe + Eatery
This is my second time at Goldies and I am so happy I came back! We went on a Sunday morning and it was packed! We sat outside on the patio even though it was drizzling. Each table is covered by a huge umbrealla so we were comfortable and dry. My husband had dietary restrictions so it was great to see chicken and vegetarian options. We started with the london fog and the latte flight which I loved! Next time, I want to try their mimosa flight! We got the BBQ Chicken Flatbread, Chicken and Brie sandwich with tomato soup, the 3 cheese sandwich with bacon and the lobster bisque.The food was awesome-tasty and hot. The servers were kind and attentive. Unfortunately, I had two different issues with my meal that I noticed at different times however as soon as I let the the server helping me know, she went above and beyond to ensure I got the correct meal. Come for the food, stay for the wonderful service! We will definitely be back.

Goldies Cafe + Eatery
I really wanted to love this place as it is in the neighbourhood, however I probably won’t be back.My husband and I walked in yesterday for the first time. No greetings from staff and no clear directions so after a moment of waiting, we took a seat and waited. Your waitstaff walked by us multiple times before I flagged one down to inquire how to order etc. Apparently, there is a sign to order and then seat yourself, however it was not visible as there was a small group of persons blocking it when we walked in. The server herself was professional after I flagged her down, and she provided instructions.We then got menus and went to the counter to place our orders. My husband originally ordered the small breakfast board which stated on the menu that it is served on weekends and holidays only (we went in on a holiday, Canada Day Monday - bank holiday), but were informed that it was only weekends that it could actually be ordered. My husband ordered the waffle board as an alternative and I ordered the crepe board with the Blueberry Lavender iced tea. We then returned to our seats to wait.The drink (Blueberry Lavender iced tea) came pretty quickly. The portion size was adequate and presentation was good. Flavour wise, it was good. Unfortunately, my drink was not stirred/mixed well and I took a big sip of incredibly sweet syrup at the bottom of the glass. However, once I stirred it, the experience was improved.The food came shortly after. The wait between placing the order and receiving it was not long at all. Overall, presentation was the best thing about the food. Unfortunately, my husband received waffles that were clearly well overdone - almost burnt/really browned and hard. We did flag down the waitstaff to inquire if this was how ‘browned’/hard the waffles were supposed to be and she stated yes, however we later saw another order for a different table come out with waffles that were less browned and appeared to be more palatable.Unfortunately, my crepes were just as disappointing. While presentation was ok, my crepes were cold and therefore not appetizing.Like I said, I really wanted to love this place, but I will likely not return. The price point is amazing, however, I would gladly pay more for better food and a better experience.

Goldies Cafe + Eatery
This place was great, customer service was a 10/10! My only issue was that it was pretty loud, obviously can’t do much about, but definitely made the experience a little “annoying”. Also the latte flights all tasted the same, I wish there was just a bit more of flavour syrup in them. Other than that, the place was great and “the breakfast sandwich” was amazing and I would come back just for it. They also have 2 cutes shelves with stuff from local businesses.
