They were honest and up front right from the start. I described the issue and they told us we would need a new window well and they gave us a quote. They completed the work in a timely manner and the final cost matched the original quote. The finished work looks great and will drain the water away as designed.Highly recommend this company for foundation repairs. Glad I chose them.

Very happy with Belvidere Construction. From the advice to the assessment to the actual repair work, found this company's staff to be knowledgeable, honest, and professional.From first contact they recommended that I get an independent survey from an engineer who specializes in foundation repairs; I contacted Belvidere again to discuss repair options after I had the survey done.Due to house leaning excessively, I chose to pay extra to have it leveled. They were specific in the contract that could not promise a full leveling; this is due to avoiding any structural damage during the lift. In the end they managed to raise corner of house enough that list is barely noticeable now. Large bow window was especially vulnerable to damage; no issues during or after lift.Two sides of foundation had to be excavated and underpinned to accomplish the lift. Work was done without damaging the house and with little impact on the yard.Working to my engineer's satisfaction, plies were sunk in correct numbers and to correct depth. Waterproofing done has lifetime warranty and is fully transferable.Final cost was same as initial quote. Although I got cheaper quote from a competitor, wasn't happy with other because they were less thorough is assessment, didn't want to do a lift, and didn't even recommend an engineering survey. They stated that only 1 side of foundation needed to be underpinned; I'd rather put my faith in engineer's assessment.

We contracted Belvidere Construction to install two window wells. After a one year delay due to labor shortage and weather we were happy to learn we were scheduled for late May.The 3 employees (James, Patrick and Denys) completed the work very quickly and kept us advised on every step of the job. One employee went the extra step to remove a plant near the work area and carefully replanted it in a flower bed close by.Highly recommend Belvidere Construction

The entire process of evaluation, quote, communication and work completion was handled very professionally. The office staff was always prompt and courteous. The work crews were very respectful of our yard, leaving everything neat at the end of each day. They answered all of our questions and worked very well together as teams during the 2 weeks of our job. I would not hesitate to recommend Belvidere.

We had our foundation waterproofed, the weeping tiles replaced, basement window well replaced, and a broken concrete step removed just in time before winter kicked in. The Belvidere crew did an excellent job and answered our questions and were quick to come back to fix some issues with the ground caving in when the shoring was removed. They took the extra effort to clean up like they hadn't been there at all which was great! Real test will be the spring time and the melt. Thanks Belvidere, we'd definitely recommend them for foundation repairs. The guys work so hard.

I'm very happy with the level of service I received from Belvidere construction. Their quote was by far the most organized and detailed of all that I received and their communication throughout was swift and encouraging. I was concerned that I would have to play a part in the project management side of things, but Belvidere dealt with all of the many details on their end so I could just sit back without worry. It was painless. The crew were professional and worked incredibly hard. They completed the job sooner than I had anticipated and left my yard in immaculate condition so that it was like they were never there. This was a really big job and I'm kind of stunned at just how smoothly everything went. Highly recommended.

We had a big foundation job to get done which consisted of getting 11 piles put in and doing a lift on our house. The entire process took around three and a half weeks. Everyone was very professional and knowledgeable in their job. The crew continuously worked hard, were very polite and did an amazing job of cleaning up every evening before they left. If you have any foundation repairs that need to be done I highly recommend this company. Great job done from start to finish. Excellent work

I have dealt with thousands of companies during my time as a construction manager and Belvidere gave me the worst experience I've ever had while working on my home. I hired them under the expectation they had in house crew to complete the work. They sent an unqualified subcontracted company that made mistake after mistake.They created a leak that was not there before. As soon as spring came after their repair my basement started leaking. I removed my deck which they had tunnelled and water proofed under, I discovered that they never back filled creating a massive 10' ditch and waterslide that collected all my ground water and channeled it right to my foundation.The list of other issues is extensive but includes them not supplying the port-a-potty for the crew, as outlined in contract, which resulted in several crew members relieving themselves all over my yard for two straight weeks.They also damaged my AC unit and filled it with mud.The first structural brackets they brought to the site were several inches too short according to engineer drawings and they lied to me about it. Eventually after fighting with them they got correct ones.Some of them were installed incorrectly and the structural inspection with the city failed and they had to redo them.The worst part was that when the original crew came back to fill the empty hole they left one of the crew members verbally attacked me and told me to eff off and fix it yourself".The owner of the company was entirely unresponsive during all of this."
