Went all the way there to open an account they said they could not open it it had to be an officer to open an account for me they gave me a date to come back

CIBC Branch with ATM
The only CIBC anywhere nearby and its open 10 to 3 (5 hours) Monday-Friday (5 days a week), imagine you have a bank issue (as i have been for 2 weeks now) and try to work that into your work schedule. Screw you if your bills bounce because of it, they wont care if their issues caused any lost money on your end.

Notwithstanding the general inconvenience caused by changed operational hours which is not, as far as I am concerned, the local staff's fault, we have generally had a positive customer experience at this branch since we started banking there in 2019.Noah has been a great help resolving whatever issues we would come to the branch with. Great job and keep it up!

CIBC Branch with ATM
I first booked an appointment almost 4 months ago to set up a TFSA and still have yet to get it set up. I've gone in twice to sign the papers because they got lost the first time. They keep telling me they will look into why it hasn't been opened yet, but then I don't hear back from them. Now I have been trying to get a hold of my financial advisor to get it resolved but they won't answer my phone calls or emails.

The staff were friendly, but I was informed that there weren't any coins available at this branch, which I find strange. Also, although the hours for Thursday and Friday go to 7 PM, the lack of services you can get after 5 means that this branch is effectively close.

Teller was extremely rude and short with me because I wanted to withdraw a variety of bills, I never have any problems at the one downtown. Been banking with CIBC for over 15 years and I’ve never experienced that. Disappointing.
