Recharge & Play Wellness Café

Not busy at all (yet)! Brand new and clean. Good sized play structure, fun cars, great toddler section, and a good layout. The biggest problem is the smell. The mats they have on the floor make the whole place smell like tires and it is overpowering. Even my little one was rubbing her nose in protest - and we had headaches for hours after we left. It is a great hidden gem if you can stand the smell.

My wife and I made a 3-day trip to Waterloo and found this place via google searching and finding out this place has great reviews. We have a 14 month old boy and I was beginning to have back pains from taking care of my boy.What can I say, the atmosphere was very welcoming. It was so vibrant and there were quite the cornucopia of activities - a kitchen station, jungle gym, and a large area for flintstone-style driving.The childminder and my wife were playing with our son and according to my wife, they all had a great time and super appreciative of the childminder and offering her new perspectives to play with our son.I went for a massage with Neha regarding my back pains and let me tell you: out of the many many many massages I've had in various locations around Ontario, Neha was by far the BEST RMT specialist I have ever experienced. Now, I'm normally an introverted person who likes silence while getting a massage (rather, I like to fall asleep). With Neha, I've had the absolute pleasure of having a conversation with her and listening to her stories while she listened to mine. Somehow, she got me talking about life and philosophical topics. What really stood out to me is her consistent massaging techniques throughout the conversation as if conversations and massages are part of the experience. In other RMT locations that I've experienced, they tend to either briefly pausing the massage or lighten the pressure while they are talking. But NOT Neha. It was something I was aware about the entire time.In conclusion, I highly recommend this place to drop your kiddo(s) off and highly recommend you get your massage from RMT Neha while you're there. It is worth it. This is the first time I have posted a review ever and I am choosing to spend time writing this review for this place. Keep up this fantastic place, Recharge and Play Wellness Cafe!

This space is perfectly set up for my kids to free play and I can sit and relax. There are lots of options for various age groups. But the best part is the staff! There was a camp when we were also attending today and the staff were so incredibly patient and helpful. They were sure to keep the kids safe and talk them through any problems. Amazing!

We went yesterday (on a Saturday) and we have a 3 year old and 1.5 year old so they are pretty little. We walked in and the place was packed (mainly because there was an 8 year old birthday party happening at the time) but we did understand we were going on a Saturday so it’s what we signed up for. Nothing against the 8 year olds but they were running around being typical 8 year olds and just being rowdy, not watching out for the little ones. It was way too hectic and our daughters kept being knocked over or ran into so we ended up leaving 45 mins into our 1.5 hour play session so definitely didn’t get our moneys worth. If there’s a way to have separate time set aside for older kids and then younger kids I think that would help solve this issue. Definitely would have given 5 stars if it weren’t for our kids constantly getting hurt. Great place and love the idea of it!

Beautiful playground and amazing, helpful staff! Did a private party here and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a party space.From my experience, I arrived to a clean venue, they helped tidy throughout (35 kids attended which can be messy!) And cleaned as we left :)

I came with my 4 year old and 10 month old. Unfortunately the place was not clean enough. I was afraid to put the baby on the floor. Even the high chair and table were covered in food, so I fed the baby on my lap. The toddler area was occupied by big kids (7-9 year old boys) throwing toys, big blocks and other objects. Not safe for small children at all. Another boy was throwing cars! He just lifted the car high above his head and threw it on the floor! These children were supervised by staff members, not their parents. To be fair, the staff did what they could to stop this behavior, but there were too many kids to watch to deal with all the issues. Also, 3 day after the visit my kids got sick (high fever, sore throat). The place has potential, but I am not gonna be back there with my kids.

Been to a few places around KW with my toddler that are great, however, she was most engaged here. They seem to have set up a very engaging area with perfectly chosen activities for kids. Their car area for kids is such a fun and different experience for young ones, they have a little gas station too. Love the ball pit and soft area. The staff is always welcoming and kind. They offer babysitting options while you work or get a massage which I'll use one day :). Must go kind of place, enjoy :)

Recharge & Play is a godsend for parents and women! Truly a wellness center for families. A safe space to take care of your needs, guilt free, while your children have the freedom to play safely while supervised. If you haven't checked out their services yet, I recommend you do. Recharge & Play Wellness Centre is paving the way in the wellness industry.

We took my daughter here for the first time tonight, she’s 13 months. She had a BLAST! She had a lot of fun with the staff and other kids. We were able to go out to the Keg nearby for Parents Night Out! Thanks again for looking after her with such care!

Good little place for small children to play. The playground is small enough for parents to keep watch while interacting with others. Party room is sizeable but a little tight on aisle space. Good staff and clean amenities.
