Passion Beauty Academy

As a previous student, I highly advise you not to go to this school. The staff is very unprofessional and Im sure you will recieve much more education from watching youtube tutorials than from attending to this school.Such a waste of time and money.And if you are still thinking about singing up for the program after reading this, i would advise you talk to one of the students in private about how they feel about the program, Im sure they would say the same thing.Apparently the school wasnt that bad when Michelle was teaching, but since the staff have changed this place became terrible.

I have curly hair and have had trouble for so many years to find someone to cut my hair properly. I don't think I'll have that problem any more now that I've been to Passion Beauty Academy!I went there a few days ago for a trim and fix up from a previous haircut (that was done elsewhere) and was super impressed!Everyone was very down to earth and friendly, I immediately felt comfortable there.The support they gave one another and the teaching techniques they learnt and used really helped to get me the haircut I've been trying to get for years.I will definitely be going back for my next haircut!

This place needs serious Inspection or supervision, it's neglected to it's core!!!Not the Academy I have visited since 2013, The current manager/ Educator is completely inexperienced, talks about students points blame at these Ladies for his unprofessional procedures, not only is this uncomfortable but it's done in a very unprofessional manner.If that wasn't good enough for the unhappy complaining client ........., passes blame on no variety of products, and that( it's practically impossible to color correct box dye)......End of story, I left with green blondish hair with orange and yellow stains...It was a horrific Job, just horrible!!!!........ feeling exposed proceeded to blame me the client and my hair!!! ......charged me full amount and said that it was a school! Explained to me , as if I would understand volumes and grms in a textbook he said guides him.I was expecting quality within the school , as if schools have bad quality education, What kind of professionals are they training? This is not knowledgeable in hairstyling? , just outrageous!!! the behavior, I recomend!!! Nothing done here! Maybe a basic blowout.

I used to go to this college till nearly 2 years ago. The management changed and I stopped going. 3 weeks ago I went back first time after a while just to do a blow dry , it was good. Last week I took the courage and did my hair color and blow dry, The color was great. I agree it depends on individual student, yet this college is far better than Marca for my standard and thanks to the superb color educator who make sure my hair quality stay well next to the silver color I wanted and his excellent way of explaining to details for trainees there. I thought if I were any of those trainee's I would do my best to learn to most of him, and if I had the talent I could have turned to a trainee there. Thank you all for such a college and such a good work.

Passion Beauty Academy is a hidden gem! I have been a regular client at two top Toronto salons for all of my adult life. This was my first experience with a hairdressing school.Mila, who is a student at the school, did an amazing job. I received an excellent cut and deep conditioning on my challenging hair type. The instructor observed and guided her work with professionalism. I'm sure to return for the other services offered in the near future. Thanks Mila and Passion Beauty Academy!

I’m a student at this academy at the moment and Suzan is my make up instructor. She is very professional and good at what she does. She teaches her students all the techniques she knows and is very clear when explaining something to you. When I started this course I didn’t know how to apply any sort of make up; now the course is almost over and I’m so confident in my ability of applying make up on myself and others. I’ve never imagined myself applying make up the correct way and getting amazing results at the end. If you’re interested in signing up for this course I would 100% recommend it.

Had my first visit today for myself (colour) and my two daughters (cut). Everyone was so welcoming! Students made sure to consult with me on how I wanted my kids hair cut as well as choosing a colour for myself. Instructors are always present and supervising the entire time. Outcome was better then expected.... there was so much attention to detail and they truly went above and beyond. Way better experience than any big name" salon I have been to and you cannot beat the prices!!! Will definitely be coming back!!"

I have come to this school a few times now to get my hair and makeup done. The staff is always warm, welcoming and professional. I had great experiences with several different students. And was pleased to see that the teachers were observing and involved in their students tasks. The school is spotless and update/current with industry technology. I am definitely going to carry on coming here to get my hair and makeup done and looking forward to utilizing future additional services by this excellent organization.

I had an absolutely amazing visit, everyone took such great care of me! I felt like what I was looking for was really LISTENED TO, and done with real care. My full colour turned out incredible, and they even made sure I made it out in time for work with 10 minutes to spare.The students are knowledgeable and professional. The instructor only had to make minimal adjustments, but frankly as a customer receiving a haircut from a student who is still learning, it was still a comforting aspect. I'm very excited to go back for some more pampering in the future!
