Kitchen Elements

We worked with Damian Booth to achieve a refreshed look for our kitchen. He asked us some questions and looked at photos of our existing space. We have a converted loft in Yaletown and we wanted to preserve and enhance the “industrial” feel. Damian suggested we work with the granite surfaces that existed rather than replace with quartz, and concentrate on an upgrade to the cabinetry and pantry spaces, including new rollouts and a custom wine rack and microwave cubby.Damian then co-ordinated with Dave of Central Valley Industries, and created a custom stain colour for the cabinetry. The project was largely completed in one day and the installers were respectful of our small space, tidy and all around great guys.This whole project went seamlessly. The “old” granite looks amazing with the new cabinets and saved us a needless expense. I highly recommend using Kitchen Elements for your new or renovation projects!

We were thrilled to find Kitchen Elements so close to home! We just moved into the Willoughby area and wanted to have a custom pantry/coffee bar installed in our townhouse main floor nook and Linsey and her team were amazing. They were able to match very close if not perfectly to what we already had in our kitchen. In addition, they were great to work with in terms of the budget we had in mind and their suggestions were appreciated throughout the process.The quartz slab was purchased separately through another party.

As empty nesters, my husband and I downsized our home and purchased a smaller place in a 55+ complex. The home décor was 1993...and with Scott Dunsmore's guidance (Kitchen Elements) support and expertise in Kitchen and Bathroom design, and his knowledge for so much more..... our home now boosts a beautiful spacious custom designed kitchen that suits all our cooking needs and family & friends love to sit and mingle. It is a great space - and has inspired me to cook even more!Our customized bathroom vanities are gorgeous with lots of drawers and cupboard space for storage.We certainly do not feel like we've downsized - everything we own and need is stored nicely away.Scott and his team are very professional, and timely for delivery and installation. From viewing the plans to installation, Scott kept us well informed of the progress every step of the way. The cabinetry and workmanship is of the highest quality. The quartz countertop installers even commented on the 'perfect job' done on design and installation as this job was an easy install for countertops - problem free! That's priceless.Any hiccups were quickly addressed and we are extremely happy and satisfied customers and we strongly recommend Scott and his team at Kitchen Elements to those who are considering to build or renovate.Thank you Scott. In 2017, we decided to renovate our home. We had the pleasure of working with home and kitchen designer, Kathy Johnston. Prior to hiring Kathy, we were able to see the work that she had done on other homes. The feedback we received from her other clients were all positive.Kathy guided us through all of the steps that we needed to take in making all of our decisions for a total makeover of our home.As we were leaving the country for 3 months, we felt comfortable enough to give Kathy the keys to our home. While we were away, she was in constant contact with us through email or telephone giving us regular updates and pictures. When we returned to Canada, the renovations were completed.In order to complete such a big job in a short period of time, we knew that Kathy would make sure everything ran smoothly on a timely basis.

I was not looking forward to spending time on a kitchen design. It was a small job and because I had a limited budget, I was quite certain that I wouldn't get the attention that someone with a larger budget might receive. Kathy made it so easy. She gave me all the time I needed and presented me with a very simple design that is perfect! It's also worth mentioning that her installer should receive 5 stars. He was very good and very tidy.Kathy was always available to answer all my questions before, during and after installation even after receiving full payment. With her knowledge of construction and her contacts within the industry, she's a good person to know.

Elaine and I wandered into Kitchen Elements last summer thinking our condo needed a more open concept look. Kathy Johnson listened to our thoughts regarding layout and colours then designed a perfect plan including a large island, pantry, new countertops and cabinetry.We highly recommend Kitchen Elements to anyone planning a new build or renovation. My family recently moved to a new home and had the kitchen completely renovated. Kathy was there every step of the way, taking care of all the details, helping with design and any questions and concerns that came up. She truly cared about the job and went out of her way to cater to our needs, as well as add her expertise and suggestions. Everyone on the team was very friendly and helpful as well! We recently undertook a large renovation of our kitchen, completely gutting and redesigning the entire space. Our contractor recommended Damian from Kitchen Elements for our cabinetry. The service Damian provided was so much more. From the first meeting Damian guided us through the process step by step, from imagining a stunning design to seeing that vision realised. At each meeting he listened to our wants and needs for our kitchen, making excellent suggestions and offering ideas to make the space work even better than we imagined. He recommended materials highly suitable to our large family while lending sophistication and beauty to our space. The end result was stunning as well as being eminently functional, with a large amount of storage and workspace, more so than we anticipated was possible in our smaller space. The process and installation was seamless. The installers were highly professional and their work shows a high attention to detail. We could not be more pleased with the results. The kitchen is beyond what we imagined, something expected out of a magazine showpiece. We would not hesitate to highly recommend Damian and Kitchen Elements for your kitchen project!

The folks at Kitchen Elements did a fantastic job on our kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry room as part of a full renovation of an old and very tired '70s house. From the initial consultation with Scott, to the preliminary design phase (as well as several tweaking of drafts), through to the installation and after sales service for minor touch-ups with their installer Nick it was a very positive experience and we are incredibly happy with the final result! After meeting with at least half a dozen local kitchen/cabinet companies what made Kitchen Elements stand out is their design process and attention to detail. After a brainstorming session, Scott presented us with a few different layouts/designs that met our needs and then worked with us over several revisions and tweaks to arrive at a design that ticked all of the boxes for our must-haves" and even came up with a few solutions we loved to maximize the space we were working with. Scott was very easy to work with and always had time to answer our questions throughout the entire process. They were also flexible and able to work with us on our ever-changing timelines as we experienced delays in other aspects of our renovation. It's clear that Scott and Damian care about and take pride in their craft and it shows in the quality of their work and attention to detail and meeting their customer's needs. 100% would use Kitchen Elements again in the future and would recommend them to deliver on a beautiful kitchen!"
