Shoppers Drug Mart

The staff at this store are helpful and friendly. The owner is the opposite...angry and has no customer service skills. The final straw for me was when I went for my flu shot and 5 people were in line, mostly seniors, and he YELLED at everyone and said this is a Pharmacy, NOT a flu shot clinic!!! Shortly after I moved all my prescriptions to Walmart and they are FANTASTIC!!!! I feel sorry for his staff...

Absolute WORST Shoppers in the entire city! I was just in there right now and no one is sanitizing the self checkouts in between customers and it's super busy. Only one cashier open, as per their usual at this location. The self checkout gave me an error and did not work, and other customers before me had the same problem, yet no employees helping or letting people know they weren't working. If you want to waste your time and catch germs, this is the place to go!

Every time I call in in the beauty section a lady picks up the call and keeps on saying hello and just hangs up. If they don’t want to talk to people why bother to have a phone service.

I went to this shoppers today to buy some of those fake nails. Went with my husband and my 9month old. We were hardly 15 mins in and were browsing only one isle then we checked some vitamin-C oil. The lady from the beauty section, literally ran to us and pretended to help. When I said that we were browsing for the oil, she left and pretended to do something in front of the mirror angled to watch us, and there was another guy pretending to tidy the isle and watched us. My husband is in the Canadian Armed forces and I am working for the Federal Government. I have been in this country for 6years and I am a Citizen. I proudly said that I never faced any racism and I felt home here. You guys proved me wrong. I will never shop here ever again. Looks like you guys are doing this to many. So I don't think you take this seriously. Shame on you.

Staff were very rude and if I had not been in urgent need of my visa photo I would not have come here. I know they have digital photo service too because last night I came here another staff told me about it, but when I came today for some perverse reason they told me they didn’t do it with no explanation. I can tell by their attitude that they do have it, they just didn’t want to do it for me. I hope this kind of service has nothing to do with my skin colour, but I couldn’t help thinking about it when they treated the white guy next to me so much more nicely. I believe I was nice and polite enough, and my English is good enough, to not deserve to be treated this way.

I have used this pharmacy for about 8 years now. I haven't really had any major issues. Their prescription services have been timely and accurate enough. My Major concern for this pharmacy was that they never ask to speak to the patient. I picked up 2 brand new medications at that pharmacy and not once was I asked if I wanted to speak to the pharmacist nor did the pharmacist ask to speak with me about the new medications. This has been a pattern I've noticed quite a bit from that pharmacy.As someone who worked as a Pharmacy tech for 12 years this really bugs me. Any pharmacist I've worked with would have lost their minds if that was common policy. Luckily I know the meds I'm taking and precautions but what about the layman out there who just take the meds without any warning because your pharmacists aren't doing their jobs appropriately? It's very disappointing.

It's a chain drug store. There are absolutely no surprises -- at least not that I found. The location is a little harder to get in to than some but that's more the location than anything else.
