Cheap Thrills is still the best used music and book store in the downtown area. I’ve been shopping there for over 30 years and always find something interesting and cool on every visit!

The best vinyl store in Montreal. Covers new releases, all the genres and I'm a big fan of their used section that has various things such as DVDs, books and graphic novels

Great little store with a ton of used and new records. There's also books, CDs, and cassette tapes. Was surprised that I couldn't find any KISS albums or movie soundtracks, but there's still a lot there for any person's music tastes.

I appreciate the collection and the service.Genuinely, I am worried about the structural integrity of the building. The stairs are greatly slanted, the floor carpet is so trodden down there are holes, shelving is pulling away from the wall, and it genuinely looks like the walls and ceiling are separating from each other. I felt unsafe in there.I hope they can find a new location, but as it is I will not be returning. I love myself a store with character, but I doubt this building would pass a safety inspection. Will be happy to hear if I'm wrong.

Amazing record store, it was under construction and a lot of items were still being moved around. Would have given the shop a 5 star review otherwise. Bought some cheap used cd's and found rare titles even for 5$ each. Seems like THE place to shop in Montreal for music.

When I’ll die, I want to become a fly and wander in this store until I perish once again, 28 days later (that is the lifespan of a fly according to google). In other words, Its a wonderful record store. Great vibe, great music, great stuff. would recommend 10/10

A very well organized store. The variety is good. There’s a listening station as well. They sell new and used. The staff is very nice. It’s on the second floor, so look up. They also sell books, DVD and blue ray. You can get lost and get amazed. You can really travel back in time. Which ever time you enjoyed in your past.

Props for the great collection of new vinyl, but I love a good dig, and the used stock seemed pretty picked over. Not a local, so I would frequent more often to crate dig for what I am after if I lived closer. A couple things did tempt me in the rarities section though... Something my local shop doesn't seem to have.Never had a look at books/CDs/other... And I understand that this place just moved spots in the building... So probably more good things to come. Pretty happy with my purchase regardless... Something unsealed (release from 2011 that I can't find at home), and a sweet tote to take looking for records in the wild.
