Left frustrated and unfed.Interesting underfunded arrangement this Lovebird place has. Kitchen and seating is all shared with another restaurant. Fine.Over the phone, hostess said that Lovebird has lots of gluten free options for dine in. GREAT. We'll drive on over...Upon arrival... Theres no menus. And you cant order without installing an app.Cant see a menu without scanning a QR code.There I am starting to research why or how to make the phone do QR codes but I CAME TO EAT not play with a phone.Invest in some physical menus for your spot!At LEAST.And have a human take the order instead of demanding I can only order if i install and learn your app.Nope. I dont install appsNo sale I said.We left hungry and frustrated and took our money elsewhere. Underfunded cumbersome attempt at a restaurant. Oh ya. No sign for the restaurant either on the building or in any window....Oh wait. The girl says there was a super tiny one.Ya. Weak.

NOT VEGAN!!!Ordered from here once and the tofu fried chick'n was completely flavourless. All you could taste was tofu and flour. Didn't leave bad review because I try to support all vegan businesses in Toronto and thought maybe just an off day.Fast forward to now. Multiple people have been served dead animals by this restaurant when ordering vegan items. I posted a comment on their Instagram yesterday asking them to address this. This morning, the comment was deleted with no response. They have likewise not responded to reviews here or anywhere else citing the problem. Please don't order here. They're working out of an omni kitchen and do not deserve to be making money in Toronto with this level of negligence in food and service. Shame on these people.

This is my new favorite vegan place. I ordered the 6 pieces fried chickun thinking ill keep some for later but it was so good I ended up eating it all. The prices are really good. Cant wait to go back and try out one of their bowls.

I tried Lovebird again today now that they've completely revamped their menu and the difference is incredible! I had the Nashville tenders with the spicy vegan mayo and they both have just the right amount of kick without being overly spicy. The flavour and texture of the Chick'n is fantastic - the closest thing I've had to actual chicken. I'll definitely be back to try the other menu items!

Our order had REAL ANIMAL CORPSE BODY PARTS! Not a fully vegan restaurant as they fraudulently advertise! Cross contamination health hazard, taking advantage of vegan community $$$, it's money over ethics for this not-vegan place.

Tried only their fried chicken bao ($15) via ubereats pickup. It was really good - the bao was soft and fluffy, the vegan fried chicken tasted pretty good and the coating was spiced nicely, the toppings and sauces were delicious (pickled veggies and vegan spicy mayo).I love bao so finding a good vegan bao has been a miracle! I hope you never stop selling this because every time I get a bao craving I’ll be coming back here.

First off, the staff are amazing. Jeff is usually at the window with a smile. Serving up the most yummiest vegan chicken sandwiches and bowls. Eat here!!

Lovebird sent real meat in our order!! As if that’s not bad enough, even more disturbing is the abysmal management with zero concern for customers. It’s happened *several* times to others as well, once would be too much. So disgusting. Vegans order at your own risk.They’re not fully vegan as they say, they are a ghost kitchen sharing kitchen with omni restaurant. Their business is based on lies and greed.
