I bought a whole bunch of US Morgan dollars from a well known auction place in greater Vancouver. Vancouver coin verified to me that these coins were fake. The service was fast and immed. I was able to get a full refund the same day from the auction house. Awesome service.

Simply the best dealers in the lower mainland. They gave me a much higher rate for my items than other dealers, even Vancouver/Surrey Gold. I was shocked, actually. It was the last day of a British Columbia vacation, and I thought I'd buy a coin as a souvenir. With no appointment and only $20-$25 to spend, I showed up here, with my girlfriend and our one-year-old son in tow. Gary had every right to toss me out. Instead, he sold me an uncirculated 1958 BC commemorative silver dollar at a fair price and gave me my change in collectible bills. All accompanied by courteous and professional service. Of all the millions of commercial transactions in Vancouver that day, it was one of the least significant, but it thoroughly made my day and was the perfect end to a fantastic west coast holiday.

I decided to bring my items here because of the stellar reviews. After the gentleman spent less than 30 seconds quickly glancing over the 15 coins, he proceeded to tell me I had nothing of value and to spend the coins as is.Imagine my surprise when I went over to the next place to have them appraised, and was told that 1 of them is a highly sought-after misprint. They also took the time to explain what I had and how the other coins could potentially have value in the future, as opposed to the gentleman at Vancouver Coin telling me to spend them as is.I didn't give a 1 star review due solely to the fact that he may have just had a bad day, and that shouldn't reflect on the company as a whole. However, it doesn't justify the lack of professionalism I experienced, which is why I am giving a 2 star rating. I hope my experience here in the future will better and more closely reflect their positive reviews that drew me here in the first place . As of now, my experience was less than commendable.

I brought coins that I was unsure had any value and some scrap jewelry here to have appraised. They were very professional, straight to the point and kind. I didn't bring anything of high value but they still treated me with complete respect and gave me a great price for the items I had, much more than I anticipated. I would recommend this place to anyone and will do in the future. Thank you.
