Best Western Plus Durham Hotel & Conference Centre
The Hotel had a peculiar odor similar to too much Febreze. We checked into our room to find that the there was no heat. We asked for an accessible" room because they are easier to get around in but we found the toilet was very low to the floor whereas it should have been a "right Height" version Lucky there was a Grab Bar nearby.. There was only one comfy armchair and a desk chair with a desk. No coffee Table.. Should have been at lease two comfy chairs. Our concierge attempted to get the heat on but failed and she then located a portable heater but the plug for it had burned off ! She went off looking for another. Upon her return we requested another room which we got on the floor above. This room was much better and had proper furniture and a "right Height" toilet. This time though

I’m a gold member of the BWHG. And I was treated as one. That was good!!!We came in tired as we had picked up an international student who had been travelling for 24 hours. We were also tired flying in from Manitoba on a red eye flight the day before. Very busy day and just needed to lay our heads. Beds were great pillows very good. Hot showers. Excellent hot breakfast options.The breakfast room is quite small. Would do great to have a larger room. But it is functional at least.We needed a later than usual check out the next morning as our student was jet lagged and needed the rest. We did need some rest ourselves as well. Adam was quite gracious and helpful in granting us a late checkout without a fee.

I have stayed here couple of times now, and I absolutely love the staff, location, quality of rooms and cleanliness. There are many food items for breakfast every morning. Very comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend it. Train station is close by makes it even better. Will be back again!

Had an alright stay here, the rooms were clean and the building itself isn’t too bad. Pretty weird having no mirror in the washroom or sink, rather they’re outside the washroom. As well as waking up this morning at 6:30am to what sounded like knocking on doors/pans being hit together loudly. Other than this, staff were extremely friendly and went above and beyond, specifically the woman today who was cleaning the breakfast bar & allowed me & my mother to get some coffee before closing up. Would stay again!

I’ve been staying here for 4 months due to work , until today , it’s been wonderful as far as the staff in all aspects !! They go above and beyond for their customers and will accommodate in any way possible.It’s an older building but they’re about a month into renovations in all rooms and it’s looking great!

Nice stay. Appreciated that elevator was available instead of stairs to the second floor. Had. Vending machine but no water otherwise a good experience. Nice fluffy pillows, 4 on the bed! Fridge and coffee maker in room. Room was nicely set up with a separate area for sink to wash hands.

Me and my family stopped by and the overall experience was really good! The ladies at the reception and the breakfast room were very kind. Food was delicious and it had great variety to choose from. Ambience was peaceful and our bedrooms were comfy. Very recommended

Best Western Plus Durham Hotel & Conference Centre
If you’re looking for opulence and luxury, this is not the place for you. If you want a quiet, comfortable, safe place to stay, then this is perfect. It’s a quirky, older building , but I find that sort of thing charming. The room was cold when we got here, but it quickly warmed up after we adjusted the thermostat. The bathroom was clean, and the water was hot. Breakfast in the morning was aplenty. Also, the woman at the front desk who greeted us was very friendly and welcoming. We travel here to visit family, and we will definitely stay here again, if needed.

Best Western Plus Durham Hotel & Conference Centre
The only good thing was their breakfast and location. When we checked in, rooms were not very clean. The lock was broken, the towel stand was just barely hanging with a screw. It's an OK place.
