Phenomenal experience. My wife and I brought one of our children (4 years old) and were fortunate enough to have Danny as our waiter - who single-handedly made our time incredible.Danny’s service was superlative; extremely friendly and personable - anticipating our needs ahead of time and being on top of our young one.Having worked in the restaurant industry and sat at many tables across a wide area, I say with confidence that Danny is by far the best part about HomeFire.Saying that - go for the food, too! The soup was spectacular and everyone at our table was very happy with the quality - and quantity - of the food served. While my wife had the salad in the photo attached, I had the Carnivore pizza and our son the grilled cheese.The pizza, while not re-inventing the wheel, was VERY tasty and I would gladly order it again. I also could only eat half before being full, speaking once again towards the value provided in portion size.We’re only in town two days, and plan to come back tomorrow for another great dinner.Highly recommended- and be sure to ask for Danny when you go!

I've visited Homefire Grill with my wife twice now, and both times have been fantastic. The staff have been nothing but kind and accommodating, and the restaurant has a warm and welcoming glow. Every dish we've tried has been delicious and well portioned. if you do visit make sure you get a basket of bannock, the bannock itself along with the whipped maple butter it comes with is divine.Overall I would highly recommend visiting Homefire, it's certainly become one of our favorite restaurants in the city.

What an amazing restaurant! The service was excellent, and the food was probably the best I've had yet in Edmonton. The bison spring rolls and Saskatoon berry sauce were mind blowing, and you'd be robbing yourself if you don't try them. Partner said the elk on the carnivore pizza was melt in his mouth delicious, and the salmon Greek salad was the perfect balance of flavors! We ended up taking home half of our portions, so they definitely don't leave you hungry

We made a special trip up to Edmonton to dine at Home Fire Grill. We love the bannock. It is fresh. Spreading whipped butter on warm bannock is heaven. Portions are generous and prepared to perfection.

Wow! What an incredible first impression. The ambience is very welcoming & cozy. Love the lighting and the warmth of the fire in the middle of the restaurant. The wonderful and enticing aromas coming from the kitchen…I wish I could describe. We had the Bannock (which you must try) so creamy and the whipped maple butter just gives it a light & sweet flavour. Honestly wish I was hungrier—but our salads were ample. Stacy, our server is a delightful, efficient and charming hostess & a great representative for this lovely restaurant. We will certainly be back to try more of their menu.

It’s wonderful thing when both the service and food are top notch! Our server Danny immediately made me feel at home! His service was incredible just a really good human that is a master at his craft! Thank you for treating us so well tonight Danny! Food was delish! I highly recommend the bison spring rolls and chicken cordon blue! I will certainly be back again!

What an AMAZING place! Staying in Edmonton for a few days and saw this restaurant near our hotel and popped in for a late dinner. Kitchen was close to closing but they sat us and served us as if it was prime dinner rush. Our server, Danny was a joy! He has a casual demeanor that makes you feel instantly welcome and really knows the menu well, providing recommendations and advice on sides etc. The food was next level awesome! The NY steak was cooked to perfection and seasoned nicely. My son had the Bison stew and absolutely loved it!! Mashed potatoes and grilled veg were fantastic! Beer was cold, food was great, atmosphere was chill and homey, service was excellent. 100% top notch.We were here on Tuesday night, and couldn't stop talking about it, so came back for a late lunch on Thursday. Had the pleasure of having Danny serve us again and he remembered us, and remembered what we drank! Now THAT'S impressive!! This time I tried the poutine and all I can say is WOW! Regular poutine is ruined for me now as this is the best I ever had! Topped with ground elk, and the gravy is made with elk/bison bone stock. Never imagined poutine could be this good! We also ordered the Indian summer salad and carnivore pizza. Both were excellent! Pizza first came out a little under-done, but Danny took it back to the kitchen and had it fixed for us fast and with a smile!Wish we lived here in Edmonton so we could eat here every few days!

I liked the burger. Wife liked the salad a bit less. Bannock are not as good as everyone says, but wife liked it. Overall I am giving this place 5 stars. Service was great too.
