First, I come here because I always feel at home. The services is amazing. I come here to work and sometimes I come just to socialize. Coffees, desserts and salads are my favourite. You have to try the grilled cheese sandwich!

The food was fine, but in my opinion neither the portions nor ingredients merited the high prices. However, their drinks were phenomenal. The cortado was great, and espresso amaretto even better. We also tried a scone that was perfectly flaky and so delicious! I would say it’s a fantastic spot for a snack and your new favourite cup of coffee, but if you’re hoping for a satisfying lunch I’d probably recommend somewhere else in the neighbourhood.

Last Sunday we enjoyed the most wonderful brunch. My Family has returned once again this evening for dinner. We continue to be amazed with their incredibly mouthwatering food. Every loving dish served with a beautiful presentation with care. We encourage everyone to enjoy the Café La Base experience. They make the most amazing grilled cheese here! My boyfriend got the mocha and I got the cappuccino, and we both agree that they were so flavourful. We also got the cheese cake and it was pretty brilliant too. I highly recommend and would go back.

I heard they had natas so I checked it out with a friend for lunch. Their grilled cheese sandwiches are delicious! We stayed for lunch and I bought a dozen natas to take home. This is a must-try!EDIT TO ADD: I went back for lunch again (take-out this time) and was still very impressed! There was new staff there this time, and they were very friendly. Ghe sandwich was grilled fresh when I ordered it and was perfect when I got back to work to eat it... and they still have natas!!! Yessssss
