Very helpful but did not mention that we needed fat tires to cycle the Rumrunners Trail.We have hybrid bikes but had to get off in several places because of soft sand and loose gravel.

Great facility with a great washroom and free wifi. It is on the main road on your way into town and has a good gravel parking lot. It overlooks Mahone Bay's beautiful waterfront where there is much more parking and a trail that leads along the waterfront. The staff here is very helpful and knowledgeable.

Mahone Bay is beautiful!! We loved walking down the street and checking out all of the lovely shops! My boyfriend's ancestors were among the first settlers here!

Mahone Bay Visitors Information Centre
Great stop on the way from Halifax to Lunenberg and would recommend stopping a little earlier for the three churches. This visitor centre had a super friendly staff member there that day - very talkative and funny! Washroom facility is clean and the space is well air-conditioned. Plenty of maps, brochures, and pamphlets introducing the surrounding area as well.

Mahone Bay is a Must Stop but be prepared to fight for parking on the weekends during the peak summer season. There is so much to see and enjoy that plan a whole day for this little community. There is a Saturday Market next to the grocery store that attracts lots of Artisans and the prices are very low compared to the waterfront in Halifax.

Very friendly service. Beautiful town with its iconic triple churches. Take a left just prior to the Visitpr Centre for a picture opportunity of the 3 churches with the water in the foreground.

Nice spot to sit for a few minutes and watch the ducks. They were just repainting when we went. Needs a garbage so people aren't throwing garbage on the ground.

Very helpful staffer on hand, immaculate bathroom (thank goodness!) and a wide array of town and regional flyers and resources for trip planning. Set clearly visible by the road, this inviting little place is not only wheelchair accessible but provides picnic tables out back for those snacking or having a meal on the go. A good point to stop as it may help you become aware of stops you would regret if missed.
