Water's Edge RV Campground

This is family run campground, just beginning to get ready to open for this summers season. The Star Link WiFi wasn’t yet up and running yet. And the renovations are a couple of weeks away from finishing. Nice place just on the Boone Bay shoreline, but to far to walk into Woody Point. The main road is not something that you would be cycling on, potholes and no shoulders to ride on. The owners were very friendly.

We had a fabulous stay at Water’s Edge RV campground. It is literally at the edge of the water! Beautiful, clean tv park, water and electrical hook up. Becky and Alex were wonderful hosts! Thank you for an amazing stay!Hiking in the area- Tablelands, Lookout Point and Woody Point is not far either!

The staff at waters edge are fantastic, I stayed in suite #2 but had an opportunity to view suite #1, their lighthouse suite and glamping suites. all are newly renovated, clean, modern and super comfy. They offer many activities, though I didn't do any hike or kayak tours I did go on their tablelands zodiac tour which was not only full of beautiful scenery but our guide Becky was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and geographical features. Very down to earth people and awesome accommodations. Will definitely be making a trip here again!

Alex and Becky are simply the best! They are so friendly and knowledge always wanting to help make your stay more enjoyable! They help you with whatever questions you have about what services they offer, to where to travel to see different sites while you are staying there. The Tablelands hike is breathtaking and there zodiac body tour is absolutely amazing!I stayed in one of their suites, it was so comfortable and relaxing right at the water I had my own fire pit and porch. The food they make is delicious.I can't say enough about my experience there! I have went back for 2 summer's now. I feel they are like family!

Stayed here 2x in our Class A Motorhome towing (64ft with toad, 40ft rig) on July 17th to July 23rd, 2022. Although sites are unmarked and very narrow, with only gravel and no sewer (there was water and hydro), the views cannot be beat. Especially for the cost. The site unfortunately is right on the road but it's not overly busy. There is no space for children or pets to play/be. Small spot in front of rig with picnic table at each site. Unable to have fires at the time we were there, however they have a wonderful communal fire pit area.The bathrooms were combo with shower and toilet in one room. There were two completed at the time we were there, with a couple more under construction. They were nicely done but floors were always wet and seemed to need improved ventilation. Unfortunately for the # of sites and people there was almost never a time we didn't have to wait but will likely be great once all are done.Staff was extremely friendly and helpful with maps and what to find in the area, not just inclusive of the amazing adventure services they offer onsite (Wild Gros Morne -we didn't purchase any services during our stay).The only other concern was a very steep hill just before arriving that the locals call The Struggle". With such a large rig and toad it caught us off guard. Just make sure you take appropriate precautions when coming down as there was no signs to warn of grade.All that to say that nothing could beat the views out our front window each day and the location. Being right on Bonne Bay (fjord). 5 mins drive to Discovery centre

Great location right on the fjord, you can see seals and porpoises right from your camper. Staff are friendly. Close to Tablelands

Alex and Becky were amazing hosts!My stay was early in the season, but they had lots of recommendations for outings, amazing knowledge of the area, and also took us out on the zodiac for a tour of the Bay.I can't say enough good things about my stay! This will not be my last visit.

What a delightful spot to come back to after a day of exploring the Tablelands and Bonne Bay. We were treated to an amazing display of color with a double rainbow over the Bay and brilliant oranges and pinks over the mountain behind us. Thanks for letting us share this piece of a remarkable island.

Waters Edge Campground was awesome. We seen whales right from our campsite. It's very close to Tablelands and Green Garden hiking trails and close to restraunts and little coffee shop. Everyone was very helpful especially Shelby she always gave us advice and tips about the area

This is a great spot to stay and enjoy the views. Not long after we finished setting up a whale popped up right in front of our camp site. We also saw seals playing and later saw some dolphins. We enjoied sitting by the water and a walk along the shore. In the moring we watched a boat pulling in pods for their catch of the day. Lobster we think. Going to try to come back by here on our way home if time allows. Such a pretty place to stay. Great owners, hard working ,friendly will to help in any way they can
