The 2-bedroom apartment itself is decent, very cozy and comfortable for a couple or 2 roommates. Price is $1045 plus hydro, so it's not cheap but it's reasonable. The management will do everything in their power not to help you, however. And the construction they've started is incredibly irritating, with no notice as to how long it will take or any regard for the time of day. I've had to go to bed at 9 pm hearing hammers and drills. When we first moved in we were promised that all renovations and installations had already been taken care of. However, when we moved in we didn't have a microwave, a breaker box panel, or screens in 2 windows. We moved in on September 2, 2017 and didn't have screens until late November. Then, when they were to be installed, the superintendent didn't have a key and couldn't enter the unit. So I had to install them myself. This was unacceptable. We have also had mail delivery issues, due to recently implementing a secured entrance. I was told that this was because non-residents were entering the building and sleeping in stairways. The mailboxes in the building are incredibly small and do not fit most parcels, meaning that you will have to go to the post office, which is 10 minutes away by car, and pick it up yourself. Don't forget your ID. I have requested that mailboxes be larger or to implement a community parcel box but both ideas cost too much money and time, I guess. If you have an issue, you're probably better off either keeping it to yourself or fixing it personally. It's really too bad that the management is so terrible, because honestly my girlfriend wants to stay here since she likes the building. However we're probably going to be moving on at the end of our lease because of the poor experience. What a shame.TL;DR: Building is decent for its time, price is a little high, management will do everything they can not to help you.
