I purchased a new wood stove and chimney and I am very much appreciative that this business installs chimneys and wood stove. Currently it is -8°c outside and my home is a nice 24° inside. Thank you.

You will find what you need, and sometimes something more. if they don’t have what you need, you can more then likely order it in!The staff there is more then helpful, and surprisingly, if you’re dealing with an off grid propane fridge they can help you out with fittings and just general knowledge. A very fun place if you like home improvement stores.(Also they sell bulk you weigh grass seed!)

The customer service we have received at Pemberton Valley Hardware has been outstanding. In particular, Sean has been incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. He always has the patience to advise us on a home repair and to help us find the best parts available for each job. We greatly appreciate the expertise he provides each time we are faced with a home repair.

I would actually like to give 6/5 stars. This store and staff are great but this 6 star review is for the fellow who helped me with my paint order last week. So professional! He was kind and courteous (and remembered me from being a customer years ago). I had some samples of paint which he matched perfectly. A good hardware store makes a small town. Thank you!

I have been coming here for years. They generally have most things I need for a project or can get it quickly enough.I stopped in today for a few bits for a truck task. Just a few bolts and washers. Well, I bought the wrong size....twice. The two staff that I worked with were very patient and helpful. I ended up leaving without the right parts but it turned out that the bug deflector doesn't fit my truck anyway so money saved from great service.

Just want to say THANK YOU Pemberton Rona. You guys were awesome and saved the day.We were part of a wedding that had booked at Pemberton Valley Lodge.There was a BBQ picnic that the bride had called AHEAD to get approval which was OKed. Soon as the tables were set for the food to be put on the manager comes out and tells us we can't do it. Turns out she consider it a planned event and therefore it needed to be catered by the hotel.People try to politely explain it was approved, its not an event, we just want to hang out and have a picnic provided by the bride/groom as a thank you for showing up. Manager digs her heels in. More people try to ask what the problem is. Manager goes on a power trip and threatens to turn gas off for the BBQ. Bride's crying, manager refuses to talk further about the issue.We called you guys 10 mins before close and asked you to stay open for us which you did (and with smiles too) and even stayed later to help us get everything we needed.The impromptu BBQ was a smashing success thanks to you guys. Your customer service definitely saved us from fiasco at the hotel.Thanks again Pemberton Rona, I apologize I didn't get the names of the staff members working on Friday Sept 6, 2019 but you guys rock!

Every time I am in Pemberton Valley Hardware there is someone knowledgeable and willing to help me find what I need. This company cares about their community and I love that they sell local farmers carrots, beets and potatoes!

best place in town I go just for the fun of it. Good employees, good help, always happy when I walk in, treated well when asking questions. I would say it's the best rona I have ever been to. the lumbar yard works always happy to load my truck and make sure I'm helped.

I purchased a propane fireplace from Rona. Jim came out to measure and, since I don't live in Whistler, assured me that he would take care of getting the unit customized to fit the fireplace opening, installed, and permitted. Well, the fireplace was installed for natural gas even though the fuel source is propane. This caused a dangerous situation which I had to rectify at additional cost, and Paul (the manager of Rona) refused to acknowledge that Rona had any responsibility regarding the installation even though they recommended the installer. Obviously the wrong parts (i.e. parts for natural gas instead of propane) were delivered by Rona. I found out later that also the chimney parts were wrong, resulting in exhaust being drawn back into the house. Regardless of whether the wrong parts were delivered or the installers messed up, Rona promised to provide a satisfactory installed product - which they failed at miserably and won't even acknowledge!

I love how friendly and personable the staff are. There's something special about going into a store or business and being able to have a conversation and connection with the employees. They're always happy to help me find things, and just as eager to start up a genuine conversation about weekend or goings on in lofe, and that to me is huge. I grew up in this town, but even the customers they don't personally know, they make an effort to get to know them, and build those relationships. I'll always choose to go to a business where I feel a personal connection, even if it costs more.
